Springvale Floorshield has been providing the effective, efficient and cost-effective solution to insulating a wide variety of solid and suspended floor constructions for decades, making substantial contributions to energy efficiency.
An expanded polystyrene rigid insulation board, it is available in original white EPS or as Platinum, to provide even higher insulation values.
Platinum Floorshield is an EPS board which incorporates a graphite component called Neopor®, manufactured by BASF, to provide significantly improved thermal insulation performance, for example, to achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes or just to improve SAP ratings.
Floorshield products are light and easy-to-handle and can be fitted simply in domestic, commercial and industrial ground floor applications. Floorshield is suitable for use in solid concrete floors above or below the ground bearing slab; above a suspended beam and block floor; within a suspended timber floor and below under floor heating systems.
The inherent insulation and compressive strength properties of this versatile material make it the most cost-effective loadbearing insulant for floor construction, with a compressive strength at 1% compression of 21 kPa. Springvale Floorshield products are the ideal solution for domestic applications.
Providing excellent thermal insulation properties, Floorshield and Platinum Floorshield reduce heat loss, conserve energy and can be used in conjunction with other products in Springvale%u2019s Shield range to assist compliance with the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Beamshield Plus is the innovative, simple, fast and cost-effective way to create insulated suspended ground floors. Manufactured from high-strength EPS, Beamshield Plus units negate the need for concrete blocks, fitting snugly between and below concrete T beams to provide both the total floor insulation and a formwork on which to lay the structural screed.
Beamshield Plus is available in original white EPS and as Platinum Beamshield Plus, with higher insulation values. Platinum Beamshield is an EPS panel which incorporates a graphite component called Neopor®, manufactured by BASF, to provide significantly improved thermal insulation performance, for example, to achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes or just to improve SAP ratings.
The insulation used to produce Platinum Beamshield Plus panels has a thermal resistance up to five times greater than lightweight thermal blocks, eliminating the need for additional insulation. The shape of the panels has been carefully developed to minimise thermal bridging at the T Beams; when installed, Springvale Beamshield Plus panels form an unbroken layer of insulation below the beams.
The system is simple and quick to install and produces a floor with an excellent thermal insulation value.
There are 2 insulation unit size options available: T60 with a shallow flange, suitable for use with 150mm beams, and T80 with a deep flange, for use with 175mm beams. Other beam sizes can also easily be catered for.

Concrete formwork insulating panels are made of rigid and closed plastic cells which ensure an optimal thermal performance and an excellent water resistance.
Placed in the formwork before the casting of the concrete, the panels ensure dryness, without unpleasant moulds and odors. The elimination of the airspace between the concrete and insulation prevents warm moist air from infiltrating, condensing and creating mould.

Efficient, effective cavity wall insulation that fulfils all your thermal requirements Springvale Fulfil is a tightly interlocking cavity insulation panel individually moulded from lightweight closed cell EPS to provide a fast, efficient and cost-effective solution to insulating new masonry walls.
It is available in original white EPS or as Platinum, to provide even higher insulation values. Platinum Fulfil is an EPS board which incorporates a graphite component called Neopor®, manufactured by BASF to provide significantly improved thermal insulation performance, for example, to achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes or just to improve SAP ratings.
Springvale Fulfil products are suitable for use in new buildings up to and including 12 metres in height. Fulfil boards are effective in achieving the required U-value of new external cavity walls with masonry inner and outer leaves.
The Springvale Fulfil concept was developed in conjunction with the Building Research Establishment and in consultation with NHBC. Fulfil boards are tongued and grooved on all four edges to provide tightly interlocking joints which prevent cold bridging and water penetration. On the external face, along the bottom edge of the board, a bellcast feature overlaps the top of the next board and protects the lateral joints by shedding water past the joint. A series of 5 or 10mm water %u2018run-off%u2019 angle fillets on the external face of the panel direct any water which has penetrated the external leaf of the wall down the face of the fulfil panels and back onto the outer masonry leaf.

SR.S %u2122 200 structural insulating panels are manufactured from expanded polystyrene and a conventional wood-framing system. Combining the knowledge of conventional wood-framing and the effectiveness of the expanded polystyrene, SR.S %u2122 200 is a pre-machined high performance insulation system offering an insulating factor of R25. It offers a continuous rigid outside insulation envelope, thus eliminating heat loss through wood components. To ensure the continuity of insulation between stories, the SR.S %u2122 200 system provides an expanded polystyrene strip which covers the entire header joist.
SR.S %u2122 200 structural insulating panels are offered in widths of 4' to 8' and are assembled easily on site with a few workers. They can be cut on the spot or lengthened with fillers.
To facilitate the installation of electricity and plumbing, an air space is included on the interior side of the system.
The wall rails and the wall plates are installed in accordance with the current practices of conventional wood-framing. The door lintels and the windows are also built in a traditional way. The system is accompanied by interior and external corners as well as interior and exterior angles of 45 degrees (for bay windows).
Wind-bracing is ensured by furrings, wind-bracing bars or plywood according to the chosen cladding.

The Unidek Condor Structural Insulated Roof Panel System not only provides the MMC solution to roof insulation but offers the added benefit of enabling the cost-effective creation of third storeys or rooms in the roof. The panel core is manufactured from EPS, sandwiched between two timber skins to form a highly engineered composite element. The combination of a highly developed sandwich technique with high load-bearing capacity and a comparatively low weight allows for free spans of up to 6 meters unsupported.
The system allows efficient, safe and fast installation, whilst providing a weather tight environment for following trades and for the structure below. The integral insulation also means that the panels will give the required thermal resistance to ensure an efficient roof element and can improve on traditional methods of providing thermal insulation significantly.
Unidek Condor SIRPS also offer a significant contribution to the overall SAP rating as the reduction in carbon emissions is achieved by the extremely low U-values achievable for a pitched roof - 0.16W/m2K for a 245mm thick panel.
Unidek Condor SIRPS significantly improve sound reduction and air leakage resistances over traditional roofing materials.
The impact sound is also reduced from rain and hail due to the composite action and design of the panels. Unidek Condor Daylight Panels can be supplied ready to receive a rooflight.
These panels are trimmed around the opening and have been structurally designed to spread the loads across the full element.
The Green Building Guide gives a rating of %u2018A+%u2019 for the panels with reclaimed slates, clay tiles and concrete interlocking tiles.

The high resistance to compression and the excellent damp-resistance properties of STYRISOL® makes it ideally suited as insulation under different flooring types.
Installation UNDER the concrete
STYRISOL® insulation boards are placed directly on the flat and stabilised foundation. A PE-foil needs to be put above the insulation to prevent the mortar from getting between the joints of the boards (creates cold bridges).
Installation ABOVE the concrete
STYRISOL® insulation boards are placed on a smooth concrete surface. We suggest that a water vapour barrier is placed between the boards and the concrete to avoid cold bridges.
Attachment TO the concrete
It is recommended that the insulation is fixed mechanically to the concrete. Underfloor heating STYRISOL® insulation boards can be used in all standard underfloor heating systems.
