The colonial style from the early 18th century up to the middle of the 19th century was influenced by European immigrants and the arts and crafts of the native Americans. It is still en vogue today and, in furniture and furniture accessories, forms a bridge between the traditional and the modern. Its typical style features and splendid and impressive flair are becoming increasingly popular across all generations. Steuler is now integrating this expressive trend into the design of wall and floor spaces.
The mosaic-like decor of the 30 x 50 cm tile resembles carved black ebony. Laid over the entire surface or as a decorative strip it gives rooms an unmistakable traditional air. The tone-in-tone design with a lively structure can also be found on the matching border, discreet shades of cover complete the range.

TEXTURA
THE REAL MYSTERY IS WHAT YOU CAN SEE, NOT WHAT YOU CAN'T. In the introduction to one of my tile collections, I wrote that you just have to close your eyes to see better; in other words, you have to open the eyes of your imagination to reach out and touch what's real. The main idea behind this collection is the exact opposite: you have to have your eyes wide open to see the thousands of tiny corners in the world which can inspire a new adventure. Nature supplies the universal elements which we simply have to reinvent and shape in new ways.
