"EuroFutur AVantgarde" is a new profile system with a constructional depth of 70 mm which has been developed by Kömmerling for the manufacture of premium quality residential door elements.
One of the essential characteristics of this new high performance system is the highly sophisticated composite material which can hardly be topped. The materials aluminium and PVC are located exactly on the spots where they can display their specific strengths at their best: An outer PVC cover layer to resist weathering attacks, further down a "warm" coat of highly insulating rigid PVC foam, and the core consists of bipartite aluminium profiles which provide high static security.

The Megadoor is extremely wind resistant due to its unique design and structure. The door can be designed to withstand almost any wind load by varying the size and the spacing of the beams.
The Megadoor is designed with a door leaf fabric made in one piece with no joints or gaps, with tight fit vertical guides and a floor seal on the bottom section. The airspace between the double seamless curtains forms an excellent air tightness and a good insulator.
Additionally, its corrosion-resistant components make the Megadoor suitable for areas where corrosion would otherwise be a problem.

The alternative to the rolling grille
This full-frontal single-skinned shutter consisting of concave, perforated profiles (perforation diameter approx. 3.2 mm) offers good ventilation qualities and improved visual contact. The fine perforation keeps out dust, leaves, paper etc. and prevents rubbish being thrown in.
With high active and passive safety
The special shape of the shutter profiles makes it impossible for children to climb up the shutter or get caught up in it. In this way a potential injury hazard - and one that should never be underestimated - is effectively eliminated and the shutter protected against damage at the same time.
