Slip-resistant surface with both upward and downward facing holes.
The downward-perforated holes have a diameter of 18mm, whilst the upward-perforated holes have a diameter of 4.5mm, creating a plank with a 30% open area and aperature sizes that prevent a 20mm diameter ball passing through the openings.
The interplay between the prominent and recessed openings provides a secure foothold and at the same time allows liquids to drain freely off the surface. The STEPCLAIR profile is less aggressive than the STEPBLOC profile and has the advantage of allowing wheeled trollies to be pushed across its surface.
Webforge supplies STEPCLAIR manufactured from pregalvanised mild steel and the planks are supplied in a range of different heights, widths and thicknesses with the maximum length of 5.760m.

The upwards-perforated surface with its non-slip design provides a surface which gives superior grip properties that offers the highest safety. The oval-shaped openings permit liquids to run off easily, these openings provide a 37% open area and are sized to prevent a 15mm diameter ball passing through the openings.

More and more, sports halls are required to function as exhibition halls or locations which are used for public or social events. As a result, they not only have to meet the requirements of athletes but in addition are expected to be used for very different purposes. Our sports linoleum is really multi-talented as it can be used for such purposes and because its 4 mm thick wear layer is extremely hard-wearing. Even burning cigarette ash will not damage the majority of our products.
Nevertheless, where there is an increased risk of mechanical damage or heavy soiling occurring, we recommend that the hall floor be protected thus protecting the top surface of the floor from potential damage, therefore extending its wear life. The floor will require less cleaning after such an event, reducing cleaning time and costs and increasing the likelihood that the hall will be ready for use the morning after an event held the previous evening. This is as important in a school as it is in a commercial establishment.
Floor Protection P is the ideal solution for such situations. Our hall floor protection cover consists of a high-quality needle punch floor covering coated with an anti-slip polyolefine backing. Floor Protection P comes in 2 x 1 m size tiles which can easily be laid and removed, as often as is required.
The individual tiles have further advantages. It is possible to cover only parts of the hall floor as required. They can easily stored away, requiring minimal storage space and can be replaced if necessary (if damaged), making Floor Protection P an easy and cost effective way to protect your sports floor.

Almost all our standard cross sections can be used for BRESPA® Ventilation Floors. The principle is simple yet brilliant: the voids are coated and used as aeration channels. Exhaust and fresh air valves are placed directly into the soffit of the floors. Additional aeration channels for lateral distribution are therefore not required below the ceilings. Room and building heights can be reduced.
It is important to decide early for the application of BRESPA® Ventilation Floors, to use these ceilings soon, because this will influence positively a multitude of decisions for other areas of your building.
