Problems related to the incompatibility between traditional building structures, conceived as to remain unaltered in time, and technical wiring, which need to be changed continously and adapted to user new necessities, are extremely important in buildings provided with high technological environments. In the beginning, access floors had been projected only to solve problems of plant engineering in data processing centres. Today, access floors are the best solution for many other projects where technical flexibility is required.

Previously to lay floor tiles on terraces was a problem. Infiltrations were everyday occurances because of structural adjustment, temperature changes, under-tiles layers. Nowadays there is Grintec®, the raised flooring system for outdoor areas which eliminates every inconvenience: the modular panels, which the floor is composed of, are placed on special plastic material supports that raise them from the underlaying waterproof layer. The Grintec® system was conceived by Intec design creativity and technological research. Each panel is composed of a structure made of composite material, with inner steel reinforcement to guarantee the requested load bearing, and of a Porcelain Stoneware top finish.
Grintec® can easily be laid with dry installation procedure in every season and the blanket can be checked.
The air chamber between the underside of the panel and the slab permits a better thermic proofing.
Grintec® can absorb the slab expansion due to the temperature range.
The slight room among the panels allows water to flow quickly away.

The TK SOFT solution is the only patented system with certified performance which drastically reduces the impact noise transmitted from one floor to another.
Our solution means that noise levels considerably lower than those required by law can be achieved thus combining the advantages of a raised floor system with those of noise insulation: another Teknofloor® breakthrough.
In Italy legislation on permissible noise levels states that in this field the framework law no.447 dated 26 October 1995 applies. This law establishes the sphere of jurisdiction of the State, Regional authorities, Provincial authorities and Municipalities, introducing plans for acoustic remediation and supplying dispositions on the matter of acoustic impact.Law no. 447 "Passive acoustic requisites for buildings" Ministerial Decree 5/12/1997 indicates the maximum limits for the level of impact noise transmitted (L'nw):
Type of building
L'nwResidential, Hotels 63 dB
Hospitals, nursing homes, schools 58 dB
Offices, places of worship, commercial premises 55 dB
The law lays down that the impact noise perceived one floor away must not exceed a certain level. It is therefore clear how important the observance of such requisite is, both to avoid economic damage and to guarantee maximum comfort to the future occupants. For example, in the case of offices, with a floor 20 + 4 cm high in a clay /cement mix (300 kg/m2) a foreseen noise level of 77 dB is established: our system permits a reduction of 33-35 dB, to achieve a transmitted value of approximately 42-44 dB: absolutely superior performance compared to traditional systems.

The 60x60
is dying out
Our machines enable us to produce floors with panels of any size from 30cm to 120 cm per side, thus allowing you to look beyond the classic 60x60.
This means that we can combine our product with all the existing types of finish, especially those usually confined to the traditional flooring area.
Whatever finish you want for your floor, and whatever size it is, Teknofloor® can make it, enabling you to apply the traditional appearance of normal floors to your raised floor system, tickling the imagination of designers and giving them potentially infinite decorative possibilities.

FEATURE BENEFITS
Lock down system for maximum rigidity and stability
Light weight reduces floor slab loadings - makes lifting easy
Solid underfoot - no creaking or rocking
Unauthorised entry deterred
Fully accessible and interchangeable panels
Chamfered panel edges that ease lifting and replacement
TYPICAL AREAS OF APPLICATION
General office areas, light and medium use.
DESCRIPTION
This lock down floor panel range is fully rated to the requirements of the Harmonised European Standard for raised access floors, BSEN 12825. The design incorporates a unique lock down system which allows a minimum number of fixings to be used. The D-Lock system provides a cost effective solution to providing a solid platform with all of the attributes that are required of a raised access floor system.
CONSTRUCTION
These floor panels are based on a 600mm square module constructed around a high performance chipboard core. This chipboard core is machined by a process that ensures the required tolerances are met. This machining process also includes the provision of the corner lock down facility. Corner locking is achieved using a clamping washer and screw, eliminating panel movement and limiting unauthorised access to the floor void. The pedestal head cap includes a plastic moulding that provides positive location for the panel and includes provision for the lock down screw.

STONEWARE
Our focus on the decorative aspect of the raised floor has led us to concentrate on stoneware finishes: the ideal solution as regards performance and appearance.
In our factory each panel, already backed with the finish, is ground, rimmed and bevelled to produce a perfect panel in whatever size is required.
Ceramic tiles with a compact mass made from a controlled mixture of natural raw materials such as noble clays, quartz, feldespates and metal oxides, are pressed and completely synthesised at a temperature of 1250°C.

Monointec is the most innovative, technological system produced by Intec, because it has revolutionised the raised floor, with the introduction of the concept of the “reinforced minislab”, where the finish adheres to the composite material of the support thanks to an aggressive and impermeable bond: all without glue. The result is a single and thin monolithic block with outstanding chemical and physical characteristic: highest dimensional stability, sound proofing and a higher resistance to water and humidity, as well as to the fire and to acids; a high aesthetical solution; maintenance and cleaning as for a traditional floor. Monointec has been specifically engineered for use with top finishes such as porcelain stoneware, marble and granite and allows to make the most out of this kind of finishes, above all where water and acids in-absorbency are concerned, thus preserving their extraordinary properties of durability and cleanability.
Moreover, the minimal thickness makes it particularly suitable for restoring projects, in other words, cases where a conventional floor has been removed. Monointec allows the height required to install the raised floor to be kept at the lowest: the underfloor plenum, in which the structure complete with stringers is laid, and the thickness of the panel with porcelain stoneware top finish can all be included in just 6 cm height.
