The backrest with exclusive patented movement - when reclined becomes a footrest - has a supporting frame in metal section varnished, with tubolar cross-bars and springing system with elastic belts.
PADDING: the padding in differentiated density is entirely made of Waterlily, a pure expanded resin material, in which production cycle only water is used.
The padding is covered with layer of 100% polyester fibre.

The model is available as first, 2-seater and 3-seater and pouf (with storage). Each seat has individual adjustment. The model comes with ABC™- function (ActiveBodyComfort). The head rest will automatically be adjusted to allow a horizontal vision (for reading or watching TV). It can also easily be adjusted to any inclination as far as horizontal position (sleep). The head rest is height adjustable. The model comes in a variety of qualities in leather and fabric, and in eight different wood colours.

| The DS-1064 can be compared only with the DS-164, since it hails from the same family and from the same creator … Hugo de Ruiter. It is neither sofa nor suite; it is most surely not a row of neatly arranged seating elements. Not in the slightest! | Two simple flicks of the wrist transform the DS 450 easily from sofa to double armchair or love-seat for relaxing together. Invitingly casual upholstery ending at the sides in fold-up armrests is decorated on the upper surface with handsewn leather edging that looks like genuine piping. This gives the model a precision of contour that contrasts so tellingly with the irresistible softness of the upholstery. This feature is continued in the design of the individual, adjustable back sections giving these, with their subtly sculpted headrests, the appearance of exquisite buoyant matting. |
