Your unique Beo5 unlocks exactly your mix of audio and video equipment, whether it is a single BeoVision 7 or a full link system. The same Beo5 can be as simple as you want and as flexible as you need.
Navigate the seas of complexity
Now you can have touch-screen control of your TV, films, music and more - right in the palm of your hand. Beo5 knows which devices you own and presents just the relevant menus and controls on its intelligent hardened glass screen. You get all the visual feedback you need, without obstructing everyone's view of the big screen. Menus are copied to the screen on the remote and even station logos appear here, eliminating the need to remember all those numbers. Link rooms are controlled by means of Zones, e.g. the living room or kitchen zone, so you are always sure to have access to the right products and functions in each room.
The functions that are common for several devices - like menu navigation buttons and the famous Bang & Olufsen sound volume wheel - have dedicated tactile buttons within easy reach on the aluminium ball that forms the lower half of Beo5. The two parts of the remote control complement each other to combine simplicity of operation with choice and flexibility of features. The SRC2 is Russound's advanced learning remote control for multiroom systems. It works with Russound's CAA, CAM, and CAV systems, as well as with the SaphIR K2 keypad. It also controls up to eight connected audio-video sources and up to three local devices such as a TV or home theater receiver.
With backlit keys-ideal for home theaters-and favorite keys to quickly access music, the SRC2 is an attractive option for system control. Page Up and Page Down keys along with standard cursor keys support on-screen menu navigation. A Disc key enables direct selection of discs in CD or DVD changers. Discrete source keys allow selection of sources on the Russound system without scrolling through a list.
The SRC2 includes a large library of IR device codes-compatible with most manufacturers' products-for simplified system setup. It also has command learning capability for other devices and unique functions.
The remote comes in a silver finish with a sleek ergonomic design and widely spaced keys for comfort and ease of use. A rubberized coating on the back offers a secure grip and a softer feel.
