FAAC City 220 automatic model
The FAAC City 220 automatic concealing traffic bollard is the version made for residential use when a limited number of daily transits is expected (about 60 manoeuvres/day). It can be activated automatically by commands effected by authorised persons (cards, remote-controls, etc.), or by pre-set timed automatic commands (hourly programmer). The device is equipped with double-effect pneumatic drive, with an external motion station.

Version for intensive use approved by the Ministry of Transport.
FAAC CITY K Model
Version for applications with a high degree of impact safety.
It is specifically designed to respond to the ever growing demand for safety; it is used in applications to create protective barriers or to allow access to particularly sensitive zones, e.g. Embassies, Consulates, Public Offices, Banks etc. It is hydraulically activated, with a hydraulic unit integrated in the bollard, controlled by an externally managed electronic control unit.

Terminal Car is a traffic bollard completely laid underground. If necessary, it can
be extracted and repositioned in its seat, thus making the area completely free
and practicable.
Traffic bollards are used to regulate motor vehicles when either moving or
stopping. They are particularly suitable for historic city centres, squares, residential
areas, commercial centres, etc.
Extraction occurs completely automatically by means of a microprocessor-based
electronic central unit controlling an electric motor. This is offering the advantage
that a traffic bollard can continue to work even in case of a power failure.
The hot-galvanised FE 510 massive structure can provide for excellent resistance
to corrosion.
The floor surface is made up of a nodular cast iron ring having a 250 KN capacity
and therefore also fit for heavy motor vehicles.
The traffic bollard is complete with high-luminosity blinking leds as well as with a
reflex reflector providing for excellent visibility.
An acoustic signal completes the system of signals.

RETRACTABLE BOLLARDS
Retractable bollards are designed to control access to public or
private roads. There are two versions: automatic retractable bollards
or BEAs and mechanical ones, or BEMs. BEA bollards retract into
the ground thanks to a remote control (transmitters, proximity cards
or magnetic loops, etc.); thus freeing the roadway.
It remerges automatically after the vehicle has passed over it.
BEM bollards are activated thanks to a key that releases the
mechanism. A simple push on the head of the bollard makes it go
into the ground, locking it into the closed position. Turning the key
unlocks the bollard re-emerge to lock into the high position.

Operation: It is operated through the commandment box, where the control system is found, and through a remote controller, that it is used for raising or lowing it. Low power consumption. Just one control box to manage up to 3 bollards (Ref. H275AE, H275AE2, H275AE3).
Installation: Draining required to make water drainage easier. (Find installation instructions in a separate manual).
