Treatment which produces a similar surface to that of the rough material; the surface obtained is rough and sculpted, and hence particularly suitable for outdoor use. This surface is obtained using a bushhammer, a tool with pyramidal tips, moved manually or mechanically.

Treatment which makes the slab's surface perfectly smooth and even, maintaining a high degree of opaqueness, characteristic of this material. Polishing is effected by passing the slabs under rotating tools with abrasive tips, which, with the aid of water, "wear down" the stone. Slabs treated in such a way can be used for both indoor flooring and external cladding.

Treatment similar to polishing, using the same machinery. However, in this case, the abrasives used are more aggressive, and therefore do not produce a completely even surface, but slightly undulated, giving the effect of an aged material.

Thermal treatment, obtained by passing a high-temperature flame over the slab. The result is a rough and vitreous surface, produced by the effect of the flame. This treatment is indicated for external cladding, or floors subjected to much tread.

With the correct - and in fact quite simple maintenance, there are no limits to the use of the natural stones from Mazeras®. The stones are tested according to EU standards, and are suitable for outdoor as well as indoor use - on walls as well as floors, and even in exposed areas such as public spaces, reception areas, shops etc.
The colour-mix and rustique texture provides each stone with a unique expression, and they suit other more contemporary materials such as glas and steel extremely well.

Mosaic Lines
Format: 2,2 x 7,2 cm
“Small tiles, bic impact”
The guiding idea behind this mosaic range was to present mosaic and combination tiles as a harmonious interior design concept: the fine stoneware mosaic tiles in 30 x 30 cm format, finished with a special glaze, follow classic mosaic styles and, when grouted, cannot be distinguished from original mosaic. With a constant joint width and standard material thickness, all formats in the range are modularly coordinated and can be combined to produce an impressive design effect. The new mosaic tiles from Steuler are also much easier to handle and lay than lattice-bonded material – saving time and sanity!
You might almost think that the tiles and borders of the Mosaic Lines series are woven onto the wall. The patterns, in black-red or discreet reed, cling to the grey-white striped combination tiles like individual threads, and enmesh with the matching floor tiles in espresso or cement to create harmonious colour schemes.
