Our design is modular for the whole range of picnic shelters which means that each 3m x 3m section can be sold separately or part of a picnic pod. The range starts with a single shelter over the barbeque moving to eight table setting around a central barbeque area. Our designs truly cater for the Australian lifestyle and love of barbeques. The founding principles of the range of picnic shelters is that each element is structural and can withstand weather conditions universally across the Australian terrain. The sloping roof line and use of mesh ensures that there is no smoke curtain effect when barbequing. The gutter system is concealed and water catchment is directed to rainwater tanks. The rainwater tanks are colour coordinated with the roof deck and also provide some shelter from rainy and windy conditions. A simple bird guard system ensures that nesting is discouraged. The range of tables and bench seating compliments the shelters and is constructed of steel frames and perforated sheet metal for table and bench tops. A range of powder coated colours or hot dipped galvanising is offered, depending on location of the shelters. The shelters arrive in a flat pack and are easy to assemble. Construction instructions are included in the package as well as engineer’s recommendations for concrete pad design depending on soil types.

· A design service is offered on request for unique requirements. All structures are certified by a structural engineer.

The splayed struts for the roof structure were modeled on a slice of orange, although whimsical in design, the shelter withstands maximum winds in cyclone areas. Outrigger struts can be welded on to extend the total reach of shade provided.

Cantilever canopy BORGO
Cantilever canopy for bikes, motorcycles or benches. It is a single arched cantilever canopy with support stands.
The BORGO cantilever canopy is built with a support structure in aluminum reinforced with hot galvanized steel and then painted with the same treatment used for aluminum painting.
The cantilever canopy is made up of a circular section cover made with extruded aluminum alloy 6060 T5 curved profiles that are weatherproof thanks to Heat-hardening painting treatment.
The unique shape of the curves, the EDPM sealers, joined by the innovative "Barrel CO.IN. System", permits free dilation of the covering slabs with the elimination of silicone use or unsightly screws

The SPACE cover is constructed from a galvanised and polyester powder coated modular structure with Ø 152x4mm, Ø 102x2mm and Ø 60x2mm tubular steel supports, reinforced by 10mm steel plates and a cover in 10mm thick honeycomb polycarbonate sheets, supported by a system of 3 and 2.5 mm thick steel sheet ribs and counter-ribs and by the Ø 40x3 mm tubolar steel front profile. The structure can be single or double sided and is fixed to the ground through a galvanised steel plate with suitable anchoring bolts. The double structure is supported with a security tension rod in ø20mm drawn steel. The rain water drain is possible directly through the supports, connected appropriately to the gutter. The structure is calculated for a snow loading of up to 128 daN/sqm and for wind speed of up to 90 km/h. This premium Southern California Entrance Canopy provides weather protection with first class style. Every column and every beam on this elegant frame has been hand crafted to a tapered width in order to meet the design requirements specified by the client. The single mast design minimizes obstacles near the building entrance. The 12' projection and 22' width allow for ample protection from rain or sun. The midspan rain gutter system collects water and diverts it off to the sides of the canopy.
- Stainless steel cables and fittings provided by Frontier Technologies.
- The frame of the structure was completely welded with a very high attention to detail to provide a smooth architectural finish. No bolted field assembly parts were permitted.
- The tension roof membranes were fabricated from Saint Gobain's PTFE product Sheerfil V®.
