Sofa bed mechanism: LAMPOLET series, opened out by swivelling the backrest and then unfolding. Conversion to a bed is achieved by a single movement, without having to remove the seat and backrest cushions. Solid and comfortable, with its 200 cm, electro-welded orthopaedic base, it is suitable for sofa beds for daily use.

The Seahorse Instant Apartment is all rooms for a hotel or apartment living including kitchen, laundry, dining, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Measuring only 3700mm x 5434mm this prefabricated living solution can be quickly installed into existing buildings or installed during construction. Highly modularised, but never compromising on quality the Seahorse Instant Apartment offers an elegant fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and refrigerator. Bench tops are made from stainless steel and are easy to keep clean. The back splash is clad with 'Monza Red' back splash and lit at night by the lights in the underside of the hob counter top. The dining area seats 7, the settee folds out to two single beds, or double bed or queen size bed. All connections to water, electricity and waste water are housed in-wall making it easy to connect and service. The laundry comes complete with laundry sink, washing machine and drier plus has an area for dirty linen. The stunning bathroom is clad with stainless steel and includes a shower, wc with water saving hand wash basin, towel rings, wc paper holder and is studded across with the floor with anti slip stainless steel buttons. The robes and storage cupboards are floor to ceiling and are located next to the bathroom entry on the rear end of the unit. The upholstery is available in a range of thick tapestry or leather, and made to order.

FreeDas sofa "Free" was arranged by the Design team "studio Creare" by our producer Roberto Citterio, Meda/Italy. The model row "Free" received its names by the multiplicity at combination options and the adaptability to the individual space conditions. The bended form of the arm rests works depending upon purchase more strongly or more weakly. With the model "Free" are broader the cushions than the Rückenkissen. This play of the different dimensions gives much area for free organization to the "Free".

You can turn through 360 degrees on Hugo de Ruiter's sofa - with the armrests following on smoothly as required. It heralds in a rediscovery of the pleasure of adapting life to one's prevailing mood. The DS-165 represents an optimistic start into the 21st century and is predestined to become a cult object in the future.

ITALIAN ELEGANCE MEETS FUNCTIONAL MASTERY
This latest creation for de Sede by Italian designer Antonella Scarpitta is based on a lounge concept. She has designed a cubic sofa that is strictly reduced to the essentials. This transforms her new model into a timeless object for practical use as well as for decoration. Elegant lines, unparalleled seating comfort and a modular concept that makes for a wealth of potential applications are further attractive features of this outstanding sofa. In addition to its clean-cut form, this design also appeals thanks to its interesting, concealed function: the low rear-sections that are so typical for lounging can be folded upwards if required to provide comfortable back support - for instance, for reading. This unmistakable programme consists of three different sofas, five stools and four supplementary units which make it possible to create a wealth of different combinations - such as corner groups.

The clear-cut design concept behind the DS-159 modular system is a masterstroke of creative upholstery. Both seat and back section are generously tufted with leather buttons and piping. The unassuming straight-edged lines of the chair - which is available with or without arms - and the stool form the basis for the various seating combinations and sofa systems that can be put together as required using the individual elements measuring 80 x 80 cm. There are both couch and integrated tables to match, which fit harmoniously with seating ensembles and make an interesting addition to any living environment. The modules can be combined easily to form a stable unit.

Two simple flicks of the wrist transform the DS 450 easily from sofa to double armchair or love-seat for relaxing together. Invitingly casual upholstery ending at the sides in fold-up armrests is decorated on the upper surface with handsewn leather edging that looks like genuine piping. This gives the model a precision of contour that contrasts so tellingly with the irresistible softness of the upholstery. This feature is continued in the design of the individual, adjustable back sections giving these, with their subtly sculpted headrests, the appearance of exquisite buoyant matting.

Milanese designer Antonella Scarpitta has set a new feminine course within the de Sede collection with her DS-640. The rearward sweeping side sections embrace the back upholstery and its cosily deep seating, imbuing it with an unparalleled elegance and making virtually every sitting and reclining position an absolute joy. With its loose cushions, the sofa is an unrefusable invitation to sit and lounge and revel in such outstanding comfort.

Clad sumptuously in de Sede’s finest NECK leather, the DS-820 is yet further proof of the company’s consummate leather-working craftsmanship. It takes no fewer than four to five large hides to cover this remarkable sofa. A single seam divides the seat and back rest along the centre. The commodious lines of the armrests spring from the ingenious way in which the leather is draped. This exceptional method of cutting and folding is necessary since sewing NECK leather - which can be as much as half a centimetre in thickness - is only possible in certain places. This is yet another reason why only the very finest hides can be used for this striking quality of leather with its warm and supple appeal. Despite the use of this impressive covering material with its marked pattern of natural creasing, the classically elegant DS-820 retains all the unmistakable seating comfort for which de Sede is famous, making it an absolute delight for sitting, lying and reclining.
