Admonter Mocca is a unique product range of flooring which includes dark colours currently much in demand. Our innovative thermo-treatment means we can offer European wide planks in warm rich colours. The heating of the wood to more than 200° Celsius causes traditionally lighter wood species to darken. By regulating the intensity and the duration of the heat, different colour
shades can be achieved. This natural process allows us to offer a large selection of darker floors without using chemicals or dyes.

Maple has a close grain that gives it a soft, even texture. While the grain is generally straight, it can also appear curly, wavy, or striped. Sometimes there is pronounced color variation when maple is exposed to intense light, although a UV protector applied during the manufacture of flooring limits this variation.

Wood is a natural material that features changes in color and tone. The board-to-board color variation is more pronounced in some species, less in others. If you like the look of contrasting light and dark tones, select a species that offers "most" color variation. If you prefer consistent color from board to board, choose the "least" color variation.
Hardness Scale
OAK STANDARD
Premier Performance is infused with liquid acrylic for added durability.
The density/hardness of the wood species and its ability to withstand foot traffic, children and pets will impact its wear performance, and will vary from species to species. Strong, resilient Oak is used as the industry benchmark. The hardness scale shown above shows the relative hardness of this wood species.

Probably the most exceptional line by Admonter. This is a superb product by all means. Even though these wide planks have a length of up to 5 metres and a width of up to 32 centimetres they are still composed of only one continuous and high-grade piece of timber. Many years of manufacturing experience are necessary to facilitate the offer of such planks. The extensive variety of widths also provides many design possibilities. Narrow and broader planks are combined in order to create different effects. What remains unchanged, however, is that each such XXLong plank is an exceptional piece of timber - as unique as nature itself.
This product range offers wide planks up to nearly 5 metres length and is available in a variety of widths. Widths can be mixed for an interesting character floor. The long experience in raw material supply, manufacturing and special production techniques has given Admonter the ability to launch this unique product without sacrificing the high manufacturing standards.

Synergy™ strand bamboo with Xcora™ technology is high-traffic flooring that is 154 percent harder than red oak and 126 percent harder than North American maple. And now it is available in a wide-plank floating floor option with the Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system that allows the flooring to be installed with underlayment on, above or below grade. The wider, longer, square-edged planks install quickly and complement a variety of décor styles from traditional to contemporary in settings from artists' lofts to large meeting rooms to three-bedroom ramblers. New patents-pending construction employs a cross-ply bamboo fiber core to ensure that the flooring remains flat and the locking system profile strong and stable. A hidden benefit: the recommended underlayment also creates an acoustical sound barrier, making Synergy™ floating floor ideal for offices or high-rise condominiums, as well as homes.
Synergy™ wide-plank floating floor with Xcora is manufactured with state-of-the-art hot press equipment, proprietary formulas, and our exclusive process. Bamboo fibers are fused with an environmentally safe adhesive under extreme pressure to form homogenous, high-density panels that are cut and milled into the wear layer. As a result, Synergy™ floating floor with Xcora offers hardness, durability and stability that are perfect for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial settings.

Red Oak has a generally even grain. Because it grows slowly, oak is notable for having many growth rings on each board. Variations in color are very limited over time, even if it is exposed to intense light. Nevertheless, Mirage applies a UV protector at the finishing stage to preserve all the luster of its original color.
The sapwood of the oak ranges from white to pale brown, while the heartwood is reddish brown.
Ordinary wear and tear is hardly noticeable due to oak's open grain and natural reddish color.

American Walnut is a wood with moderate hardness. The color difference between its sapwood and heartwood is very pronounced, which results in significant variations in color and grain between boards. Walnut shows minimal color variation when exposed to intense light. Unlike other species, walnut tends to lighten over time.
Walnut sapwood is creamy white and sometimes tan, with heartwood ranging from rich dark brown to purplish black.
