Color-Heartwood is light tan to dark brown. Similar in appearance to white oak, slightly more yellow.

Ash has a very pronounced grain very similar to that of oak. Color variations range from moderate to very pronounced when it is exposed to intense light. Mirage minimizes this variation by applying a UV protector when the floor is manufactured.
Ash sapwood is pale brown or creamy white, while the heartwood ranges from pale to dark brown. It is paler in color than most commercial species.
Marks, scratches, and imperfections are less noticeable due to the open grain and natural color of ash.

Admonter Mocca is a unique product range of flooring which includes dark colours currently much in demand. Our innovative thermo-treatment means we can offer European wide planks in warm rich colours. The heating of the wood to more than 200° Celsius causes traditionally lighter wood species to darken. By regulating the intensity and the duration of the heat, different colour
shades can be achieved. This natural process allows us to offer a large selection of darker floors without using chemicals or dyes.

Beech has a close grain, which gives it a fine and even texture. Color variation between boards is moderate to wide. Beech shows minimal color variation when exposed to intense light. To keep it looking beautiful, Mirage applys a UV protector at the finishing stage.
The sapwood of beech is white with a reddish cast, while the heartwood ranges from pale to dark reddish brown.

Yellow Birch is a species with a close, straight grain that gives it a relatively even texture. Its boards sometimes have a curly or wavy look. Even when exposed to intense light, Yellow Birch has the advantage of showing minimal color variation. To maintain the wood%u2019s elegance for many years, Mirage applies a UV protector at the finishing stage.
