Palladium® is born from the careful selection of porphyry slabs with natural surface and variable thickness for the realisation of opus incertum (irregular) or regular slab pavings.
It is a very simple paving typology and this simplicity reflects its fair charm and appeal.

Use the new SandOpal Exterior Coating foil to improve the looks of the plinth and facade of your building! The foil is laminated according to customer's whish to a carrier plate. Materials include: HPL, aluminium, aluminium-compound and mineral fibre boards etc.
Dirt from the street and rainfall can be washed away very simply, airborne sodium does not affect the colour, so that no graying from this source must be expected.
The foil consists of natural sand that is available in natural and many different UV-radiant resistent colours. It can be produced in singel colours, colour mixes and also in some stone-like patterns.

Flexible ceramics technology brings the 'flexible' element into ceramics, baking regular soil to become resilient ceramics. It combines the mild characteristics of hardwood, leather, natural rubber and unrepeated natural stone texture, completely changes the stiff, cold, heavy and fragile feeling of traditional ceramic tile, but keeps the advantages of high stain resistance, abrasion resistance and easy to clean of traditional ceramic tile.
This new material will enable mankind living and working environment to become warmer and more considerate.
Compared to traditional ceramics, the flexible ceramics technology is non-pollution during the producing process and the energy consumption is only 20%.

StoneLite® panels are a natural fit to retail construction. They meet the demand of quick installation while maintaining the high quality standards required.
StoneLite® panels keep the beauty of natural stone and eliminate its fragile, brittle and variable properties plus they are easy to handle and do not require heavy lifting equipment.
Natural stone exemplifies the high quality image that retailers require to draw customers. However, installation of heavy dimensional stone usually takes too long for the typical retail construction schedule. Tile is often substituted, but lacks the design impact of large pieces.
StoneLite® panels can be installed very quickly by trades who are already on the project, eliminating the need to bring in specialized labor while maintaining the design intent. They bring the beauty of natural stone, without the difficulty.
StoneLite® panels provide a natural stone facade to a building while insuring that it is an extremely strong, safe installation that will withstand the test of time.
|
|
|
StoneLite® panels are an ideal solution for both exterior and interior renovation. Lightweight StoneLite® panels are often the most economical choice, since they can be installed without the need for reinforcing the building structure. They also provide a quick return on investment for the building owner as the natural stone finish upgrades property values, increasing both lease rate and occupancy.
|
|
StoneLite® panels have over 25 years of proven performance on the exterior of buildings throughout the world. After many years of exposure to many different environments and after being subjected to extreme heat, bitter cold, earthquakes and hurricanes, the panels remain durable and continue to perform.
The StoneLite® panel system and its installing components have been thoroughly tested by leading independent testing laboratories. They have proven performance in bond strength and flexural strength following acid freeze/thaw and UV radiation exposure. They are accepted by I.C.C. (formerly ICBO) and other code bodies for unrestricted use as exterior cladding for Type I buildings.
They offer the advantage of construction speed and cost effectiveness. The lightweight panels are easy to handle, so an entire building can be laid out in advance and arranged for blending the color and the natural stone grain prior to fabrication and installation.

StoneLite™ panels keep the beauty of natural stone and eliminate its fragile, brittle and variable properties. They are frequently installed on lobby walls, ceilings and reception desks. The impact resistant lightweight stone is easy to handle and does not require heavy lifting equipment. Large size panels provide design flexibility.
StoneLite™ panels provide a natural stone finish to a building while insuring that it is an extremely strong, safe installation that will withstand the test of time.

Treatment which gives the surface a slightly rough finish, obtained thanks to a cut made with a diamond tool equipped with a blade or disc. The type of cut may produce a slight undulation on the plane, which is not perfectly even. The slabs dressed in this way can be used for indoor flooring and outdoor paving.
|
|
|
Treatment which makes the slab's surface perfectly smooth and even, maintaining a high degree of opaqueness, characteristic of this material. Polishing is effected by passing the slabs under rotating tools with abrasive tips, which, with the aid of water, "wear down" the stone. Slabs treated in such a way can be used for both indoor flooring and external cladding.
|
|
|
Pressure treatment, obtained by mechanically projecting at high pressure and speed an abrasive mixture of sand or other hard material. The surface obtained is rough but without being sharp or particularly uneven. Used predominantly on slabs for façade cladding, this treatment may also be used for cleaning existing slabs, and for removing encrustation.

"Light marble" a seeming contradiction...
The main problems with using stone stem from difficulties in handling and laying it
and from size limits. The slabs generally used have to be 2.5 to 3 cm thick, on average,
to limit the risk of breakage during laying.
Thickness and high specific weight combine to produce averages weight of between
80 and 90 kg per square metre.
Weight thus limits usable dimensions (it's difficult to use slabs of over 2m2),
it necessitates complex handling and anchoring systems, requires considerable manpower in the assembly stage and significantly increases the cost of the structure (the building
and mechanical parts) that has to support such loads.
As a result, the market is looking to alternative materials, or artificial marble.
Natural Stone Tech has developed the Phidia panel:
thin slab of marble (from 3.5 to 5 mm) on a structural support (from 5 to 40 mm)
with an overall thickness ranging from 8.5 to 45 mm.
The slab weighs around 20 kg/m2, offers a natural stone facing with a back-panel made of a material that allows for rapid installation (with rivets or adhesive, in frames,
anchored directly to the wall with dowels).
This overcomes size-limit problems.
Phidia makes it possible to obtain slabs of up to 6m2 weighing an overall 120 kg against
the 480 kg of traditional natural stone.
