Steel and hundred year old slate roofs are the essence of this exclusive collection of tables.
Architectural buildings from the 19th century were often equipped with beautiful slate roofs. As these unique roofs are now being replaced designer Bente Rübner has found a unique new use for these fantastic roof plates. The slate is cleaned, cut up and sorted - all by hand - and is transformed into exclusive tables with a beautiful minimalistic design. It is Danish furniture design at its best.
No two tables are alike, and each table has a certificate of origin attached with the history of which house this specific slate came from.

A sophisticated yet organic iteration of an antique stone-based table, this design combines a faux limestone pedestal with a solid ash plank top. An octagonal base plate rests on flattened bun feet, adding both height and personality to this versatile table. The top is available in a special scrubbed ash finish in addition to all Hickory Chair finishes.

Rübner Stone_ is a selection of tables based on the classic Rübner frame with a tabletop of flint rolled marble or slate.
The stone tables are known for the unusual high-class finish of both the stone plate and the steel frame.

This table is custom carved from solid Bianco Carrara marble and inlaid with over 500 pieces of hand carved solid stone. Each piece is precisely cut and perfectly fit together. The design/motif is completely custom. The client can supply their own design or can use a design created by our stone artists.
