GemaGrid
GemaGrid is designed as a two-component system and comprises primary and secondary profiles. The primary profile (U-profile) is system-independent and a permanent component of the suspension system for every Armstrong metal ceiling. This means that the same profile can be used for every ceiling system offered by Armstrong. The secondary profile is then matched to the respective ceiling system being used. Together with the cross-shaped grid of permanently-linked primary profiles, they form the GemaGrid.

Classic
Armstrong offers the Classic suspension system as an alternative to the GemaGrid. This system, which is reduced to a minimum number of components, also has a 2-tiered structure. Bolted together into a cross-shaped grid, the cost-effective Classic is extremely sturdy and functional.

As the most widely used acoustical suspension system available, the DONN® DX®/DXL™ Ceiling Suspension System offers appropriate load-carrying capacities for acoustical panels, light fixtures and air distribution elements. Its components can be used in both general and fire-rated applications; its galvanized steel body inhibits rust.
Donn DX/DXL High Recycled Content (HRC) is available as part of the standard offering with a recycled content up to 58% and post-consumer recycled content up to 51%.
Patented QUICK-RELEASE™ cross tees are easy to remove without tools, decreasing renovation costs. Override-ends resist twisting and give a professionally finished look without exposed steel edges.
Locking tee ends provide pull-out tension values in excess of 200 lbs. Main tees are punched with cross tee holes and hanger wire holes at 6" o.c. with convenience holes at 2" o.c., providing maximum installation flexibility. Note: The DONN® DX®/DXL™ Ceiling Suspension System includes a DX422 cross tee that is not fire-rated. Using it results in a system that is not fire-rated.
The system features more than 80 UL designs (up to 3 hours), and it meets or exceeds all national code requirements, including seismic. An extensive color selection coordinates with USG ceiling panels.
Lifetime limited warranty when used with USG ceiling panels.

Model 8PFH FLATLINE
Description SISTEMA 8PFH Lowered Flatline consist of Bandraster profiles as load bearing for suspended ceiling.
It is designed to be fitted up in the Crossed grid, by means of rigid hangers which allow the successives fittings of underlying movable partitios.
It can be employed in the production of noise insulating suspended ceilings. In fact, the visible flat side of the profiles is lowered from the laying edge of the panels and is box-shaped in order to contain strips of noise insulating.

Kalzip structural deck roof system
The Kalzip structural deck roof system provides an economical solution for long span installations and eliminates the need for purlins. For enhanced acoustic absorption, decking sheets can be perforated and can support mass, such as increased insulation or board, which may be introduced for more rigorous acoustic specifications.
Where structural decking is installed there is a reduced requirement for secondary steelwork. The Kalzip structural decking sheet is generally laid transverse to the direction of the Kalzip standing seam roof sheet and spans between the main steel rafters. Typical rafter centres would be approximately 3 to 8 metres.
The Kalzip clips are installed in a diagonal layout so that all external roof loads can be evenly distributed to the structural decking sheet. The frequency of clips may be increased at theperimeter of the building where higher wind loads occur.
The gauge and profile of the Kalzip structural decking sheet is therefore determined by the rafter centres, all external roof loads, internal wind loads, service loads (e.g. lighting) and the dead weight of the construction components.
