How to choose this product

A synthetic rug is a floor covering often used as a substitute for more expensive natural fibers such as wool and silk. Some are made from recycled materials. Certain models are specially fabricated to withstand heavy use. Many of these rugs are very easy to clean, come in a wide range of finishes and offer insulating characteristics. However, some lack durability, are flammable or emit volatile organic compounds when first installed.

Verify that rugs used in high-traffic public and commercial areas comply with fire and other regulations. Examine the terms of any guarantees or warranties. Certain weaves resist shedding better than others. Determine whether durability or comfort is more important.
