The design of the Revolt chair and specifically the choice of materials - a formed sheet steel frame instead of a conventional tubular frame - were revolutionary in 1953, hence the name Revolt. Following decades of use as an everyday chair in Dutch offices, homes, and schools, the Revolt chair is now claiming the well earned title of "timeless classic". In classic black and white, discerning clients are now using Revolt in locations around the world.
Originally designed over 50 years ago, the Revolt is still relevant today, updated with current technology and resized for the ergonomics of today's population. The Revolt is a dynamic chair: it moves along with its user, offering active support while working, eating, reading, writing or in a meeting. Whether in an office, library or school, Revolt offers the perfect balance between distinctive styling and a chair that is ergonomic, flexible, durable and able to effectively withstand high-use areas.

Because when the four lounge chairs and the coffee table are not being used, they are stacked and form a work of art. They turn into a towering stone, which proves that stacked furniture does not have to look like stacked furniture.
Our designer, Frank Ligthart, was inspired by the menhirs in Carnac on the French Atlantic coast. More than 3000 rounded stones have been there since the Neolithic age, for more than 5000 years. A mystical, magical place.
OBELISK adapts to its surrounds while turning them into something special. Be it in the countryside or a city skyline. Obelisk is not really furniture. We believe: It is art.
