A traditional side table may be integrated easily into a number of different spaces as it has a familiar or standard design and is often made using known techniques. On ArchiExpo, such tables are categorized by properties including function and special features.
This furniture can be placed at a room's periphery as an extra work surface. It is used to keep useful items within easy reach, as for drinks or a remote control next to a sofa or bed. Camping tables and similar models for temporary use can be folded away when no longer needed.
Interior tables are often made from materials such as solid wood, and may be varnished. Exterior models are often of weatherproof materials such as iron, glass or synthetic wicker which may also have anti-corrosion, UV-resistant or other protective coatings.
Consider how the color and finish of the table will blend with existing finishes in the space. Ensure that the dimensions of the table do not hinder movement around it.
Determine maintenance requirements, sturdiness and the possible need for resistance to scratching and adverse weather.
