TR491 SECURITY TURNSTILE:
The Model TR491 Security Turnstile is manufactured by Automatic Systems. The TR491 is especially equipped for areas where extremely high volume and rapid access control are required, however, space is limited. Essential to this compact low-profile tripod design, the TR491 turnstile includes an anti-panic device, which in the event of a power failure, unlocks the arm from the standard secure horizontal position; and drops the arm instantaneously to a vertical position. The result is a completely UN-obstructed walkway for emergency egress. This turnstile is designed to be remote-controlled from an attendant's booth or reception desk.
The high “wear and tear” exposed areas, such as the lid-cover, front sections, and outer side panels are fabricated from stainless steel, in order to withstand the rigors of high volume throughput. The Cabinet front and rear end sections facilitate the integration of card reader devices; coin/token acceptor’s; ticketing systems; biometrics, etc., for use in one or both directions. Reliable and compact, classic tripod turnstiles are especially suitable for use where high flow rate and comfortable passageway are important priorities.
The tripods are operated from cable or wireless remote control panel. Possibility of the turnstile connection to relay outputs of different types of controllers enables to integrate it into any identification or access control system.
The turnstiles feature several operating modes set from the control panel and are intended for bi-directional single or multiple passages. Passage can be controlled in either direction.
After each passage the barrier arms are automatically returned to home position. Smoothness of reset is ensured by the damper. The arm rotation sensors track passages through the turnstile to ensure accurate count inputs to access control systems for reports generation.
