Every era has its own way of constructing buildings for the most spectacular occasions. The unparalleled Millennium Structure is such a spectacular building. A dome measuring 51 metres across!
The circle of large theatres
The leading builders of their time created spaces in which people could participate in the great cultural highlights of the day - from the amphitheatres of antiquity to the opera houses of the baroque period, right down to today's modern stadiums. All have been variations on a single theme: that of the circle.
Brings the people close to the action
When it comes to generating the most intense human contact, the large circle beats all other shapes. Whether for a plenum or a special event, for a conference or a presentation, the circle is still the very best way to bring people together or to bring them as close as possible to an event. In a circular space everybody can see everything, hear everything, and understand everything. Nobody ends up on the margins because they are too far away from the action.
51 metre diametre
With the Millennium Structure, De Boer has developed a new multifunctional circular arena, which is ideally suited to meet the growing demands for special events of all varieties. An area for a new age. With a diameter of 51 metres, it tears up the previously accepted rulebook, in time for the Millennium. No other special events space of this kind has the same flexibility and adaptability: dining for 3000, showcase presentation, conferences, top class parties and much, much more.

The All-Weather Halls by De Boer offer a very flexible solution for a multitude of storage needs.
Available in many different sizes
The halls are available in modular sizes varying from 20 to 40 m in width (free span) and side heights from 3-8 m. The halls are extended in standard sections of 3 or 4 m.
Wind and snow loads
The structure was first engineered and developed to comply with Swedish regulations for wind- and snow loads. It has been thoroughly tested under these conditions for the last 20 yrs and the AW Halls have been used very successfully as storage solutions in a range of industrial applications, for instance in the paper, timber, steel, car and harbour industries. Technical details about the snowload may be found in the downloadable Product Sheet.
Anchoring and cover material
The structures can be fixed to the ground by using base plates with varying types of anchors, depending on the composition of the underground. For our larger structures, 25 m in width and up, concrete blocks may also be used for anchoring and if the hall needs a concrete floor, that floor can also be used to anchor the structure. The hall has a PVC-cover on both sides and the roof as standard. The structure can also easily be equipped with cladding on the sides.
Unheated storage hall to heated showroom
In their most basic form they can be used as unheated storage space or weather shelter. When you require a heated space we are able to offer a variety of standard solutions in insulation and heating. The eventual decision on finishing depends on what indoor temperatures are required in which climate, and also for how long the structure is needed.

The Mondiaal structure is a 15 metre wide festive modular span tent with a pagoda look.
Fully modular in size
The length of the Mondiaal can be extended in modules. Extension segments of 8 metre make it possible to adapt this attractive accommodation to the number of guests in question.
Decorative roofline
The membrane roof structure runs from pole to pole. This arrangement creates a decorative, futuristic roofline.
Mondiaal Modular Tent
Mondial Modular Tent offers even more possibilities. As a variation on the Mondiaal, the Mondiaal Modular tent can be extended not only in length but also in width. The use of the special expansion modules can transform this tent into any desired shape and size.
Bars, buffets and rustic corners
Extension in width can be used, for instance, for placement of a bar or buffet.. The same applies to the use of a rustic corner as a separate effect within an overall ambience, or as entry to an adjacent space. The specialists at De Boer will be pleased to help you design your own personal Mondiaal Modular tent.
Party Tent Par Excellence
The Mondiaal tent is available with an optional floor. This model makes a particularly attractive party tent. Owing to its fairytale, stylish pagoda roof, it needs little decoration.
Natural Ventilation
The Mondiaal structure has a peak ventilation system. Warm air and smoke leave the tent through the peak. This system, in combination with the special shape of the roof, ensures optimum climate control.

The characteristic De Boer Chalet tent comes in four sizes; 5 x 5, 6 x 6, 8 x 8 and 9 x 9 metres. The Chalet tent is a stylish hospitality pavilion and party unit, complete with an attractive pagoda roof.
Roof and guttering system
The taut roofline is testament to the quality of our sail makers and design process. Another high quality design innovation allows rain water to be drained through an integrated aluminium gutter connection system allowing joining of multiple Chalets into one seamless unit.
Roof line and linking of structures
The characteristic flowing roof shape is visible from every corner of the structure. Rainwater is drained by means of an integrated truss system. Any number of Chalet tents can be joined together.
Entrance unit
At large party complexes where high standards are set on ambience, luxury and atmosphere, Chalet tents often serve as an attractive entrance. The high, futuristic roof is particularly appealing.
Peak ventilation
De Boer's peak ventilation system ensures the natural removal of air and smoke. This results in an agreeable interior climate. The insulated roof covers also block light, a feature that contributes to a cosy, intimate interior space with optimum climate control.
Additional possibilities
You can choose to use fixed walls with a decorative column motif, luxurious smoked glass panels, self- closing glass doors with push bars and doorsprings, emergency doors or PVC side curtains with clear PVC arched windows. The Chalet tent is available with an optional wooden system floor.

This kind of structures are considered as works that are outside the standard. Is the customer that, for reason of space, use and aesthetic, orders us the whole work, from the external architecture to the internal furniture. This is of course quite a stenouse challenge, but thanks to our technical staff ability and skill and thanks to the cooperation with our associates, the result is always positive. The special tents are not only the ones that differ for the shape or dimension, but are also the ones that aim to facilitate and improve the surrounding environment. Such as for example the need for a museum to create grey area to shelter their own works of art from the light beams.

A double layer membrane tensile structure was utilized so as to grant aeration as it is the case of a traditionally ventilated roof built with conservative materials. By utilizing a two layer polyester/pvc textile, with dissimilar mechanical specifications and transparency degree, the project minimizes fuel consumption to produce heat in wintertime (closed building + closed air inner space), takes care of the problem to keep the building cool in summertime (open space and removal or folding of the closing perimeter cushions) and reduces solar overheating (the hair funnelled through grates fitted at the base of the building and polycarbonate windows placed on top of the Flying masts).
The final result is that of a light structure which though fitted with a double layer cover, does not prevent clearness and in fact emphasizes it thanks to luminous spots placed at the foot of the flying masts. It is dry assembled thanks to the wise association among the various materials: wood and steel for the primary structures, textile membranes for the cover, pressurized textile cushions for vertical walls, transparent polycarbonate for the roof windows.
