The Swiss architect's projects often border on perfection. They have culture, beauty, technology, essentiality.
Optical is a series of standard, wall and hanging with cylindrical diffusers in transparent methacrylate and a frame in bright aluminium. The diffusers, which can be rotated 360° and adjusted 180°, are lined internally with the optical lighting film OLF (Optical Lighting Film) from 3M, which creates remarkable optical reflections and projects the light uniformly, without shadow effects and glare.

The stand is in mirror polished aluminium.
The diffuser, which can be adjusted and rotated, is in methacrylate with OPTICAL LIGHTING FILM internal film by 3M (OLF) 2 halogen bulbs of 75 W GU10 socker for 230 V, E26 socker for 110V.

DAU DOBLE 6037
Wall mounted lamp with injected aluminium baseboard and extruded aluminium body. The polymer-injected covers round the 75 W GU10 lamp give the lamp a uniform finish and overall superior appearance. Uses two 75 W GU10 bulbs providing two distinct beams. Made in brushed satin aluminium, brushed black aluminium and lacquered white satin.

AMELIA SERIES
A range based on an injected polycarbonate shade, which comes in four different colours (transparent, opal white, burgundy red and bright orange) and which has been designed so that the neck where the halogen bulb is housed prevents dazzling, while the perimeter of the shade itself is illuminated by the reflection of the light.
Two models have been developed: a table lamp, and another which can be used as a wall or ceiling lamp.
The organic shape of this shade, along with the colour finishes, means that this model is clearly aimed at a younger setting.
These models are fitted with G9 direct halogen bulb holders for 40 W bulbs. |

DAU 6021
Wall mounted lamp with injected aluminium baseboard and extruded aluminium body. Inner shade in bright aluminium makes two different light reflection patterns possible, giving this lamp a distinctive beauty of its own. Uses G9 halogen bulb holder for bulbs rated up to 75 W. The same model is also available in a two-head version.
Made in brushed satin aluminium, brushed black aluminium and lacquered white satin.

The Torinese designers Nucleo, also designers of the Angelica and Divina lamps, sign Romantica, a new project for Alt Lucialternative, an FdV • Firme di Vetro brand, always attentive towards new talents in design.
Produced in the hanging and wall versions, Romantica, amusing and overwhelming, it plays with the colours and shapes along its incisioned edges transforming the letters into a sentence: “And with this light you can do nothing else but kiss me”.
The light from Romantica is in fact warm and welcoming: the diffusor, in plexiglass hides the lightbulbs and allows the light to move into the environment passing through the letters, bringing them alive and increasing the contrast. The cylindrical section of the hanging version unwinds and becomes flat and rectangular for the wall version. For both variations, two silk-screen colour combinations can be chosen: white with orange inside, for a more subdued and delicate Romantica, black with fucsia inside for a more decisive and provoking version. |

The Mod Collection consists of modular tiles which can also be used as singular fixtures.
The modular designs allow forming innumerable wall or ceiling illuminated patterns, in compositions and scale according to each individual desire and need.
The collection is extensive, offering a wide variety of options, and is united by geometrical yet organically sensual appeal.

In 1976, interior architect Ben af Schultén was selected as Artek's
artistic director. In addition to furniture design, af Schultén has
designed a lamp collection for Artek featuring a single lampshade for
use as a table, wall and floor lamp. The lampshade of the floor lamp
and the table lamp is freely adjustable.
