The particular geometries confer high rigidity to the corrugated sheets, giving the possibility to bear heavy loads in relation to thickness and profile; using thermo-curved sheets the load supporting is increased also by the arch geometry.

Politec WT sheets are the most up-to-date solutions for completely transparent skylights or in combination with aluminium or steel corrugated metal sheets. With their geometry, Politec WT sheets can be used together with most well-known roofing systems available on the market today. BDL SYSTEM is a system of multiwall polycarbonate panels right for covering flat and curved roofs. The joining between panels is made thanks to polycarbonate or metal (aluminium or steel) profiles fixed to the bearing structure by means of stainless steel fixing hooks. In the case of realization of self-supporting skylights, the system is completed by a wide range of aluminium profiles for banks and gables. Thanks to UV protection on both sides, the panel maintanins unchanged excellent transparent and mechanical properties. The panel is available with these thicknesses: 6 - 8 - 10 - 16 - 25 mm.
