A wall-mounted split air conditioner uses a split system to transfer heat from inside to outside. The interior unit is mounted on the upper part of a wall, while the other element sits outside. ArchiExpo offers a large selection of split-system models, including wall, floor, cassette and ceiling mounts.
These systems are commonly used in housing, offices, stores and other locations to provide comfortable interior temperature and humidity.
Air conditioners comprise an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser and a regulator. They operate using the coolant phase change principle, a condensation cycle following one of absorption. Wall-mounted split systems include an interior unit containing the evaporator and a centrifugal fan. Their exterior unit houses compressor and condenser. The two are linked by electrical and coolant lines.
