The beauty of this system speaks for itself. As you stand before it,
the quality of the materials and the level of craft become immediately
apparent: Shelves and drawers of solid hardwood, dovetail joint
construction, solid steel structure. But what's less obvious is also
what truly distinguishes this system: its versatility.
A broad selection of components is available in a variety of sizes. All
components fasten securely to the standards and may be positioned
or adjusted at two inch intervals. The as4 can be reconfigured,
added to, and taken with you when you move. Beyond it's expected
application as shelving and storage, it's been used as home office,
audio/visual center, retail fixtures, commercial workstations, kitchens,
closet/dressing room fixtures, server racks and wet bar.
Another unique level of versatility is evident in the ease with which
this system can be customized. Custom sizes are available for any
component, as are materials and finishes outside of what is stocked.
Beyond that, custom components such as lighting, beds and seating
can be made to suit any application or need.

Outside, Berlin, a city of success, mutable, in perpetual motion, an open air laboratory. Inside, neo-chic interiors give coherence to the hum-drum
space: in the dark tones of the individual elements, with the sole exception of the living room's long low central piece, together with the objects it holds, sought after and selected, and their stories. The light coloured wood splits the shadows and gives them sharpness. The containers hung next to the shelves and the panel develop a vertical dimension to the functional and aesthetic aspects of the system. Inside, in the area of rest, the colours turn in the dark, in the night. Here, next to the modernity of the lines, fabrics and materials the details of the tradition stand out, like the capitonné headboard, and the whole makes a delightful medley. | Shelving with an essential appearance but complex structure. A strong wooden shelf is fixed to the top of the wall and a number of metal uprights with graduated notches at different heights are then hooked to it. Shelves in aluminium and wood are placed level with the notches, supported on invisible hooks. A complex tie-brace system housed in the top shelf permits an actual load capacity of 25 kg, evenly distributed on a shelf one metre long. |

| This line of shelving is available in four different sizes: L 100 / 120 / 140 / 180 / x 52 cm. h 10. In order to protect the lacquer surfaces, it is suggested covering them with a coloured glass top of the same tone the effect is visually and emotionally elegant. |

| Shelves in anodized aluminium natural or mocha with invisible supports. Thickness 2,5 cm., depth 25 cm. and lenght from 100 to 400 cm. The shelves can be reduced to size. California shelves of 150, 200 and 250 cm., can be completed with halogene lights. Each light is 20 W - 12 V, electronic ballast and a 250 cm. cord with switch. The electrical cord is on the right side (upon request can be on the left side). Not available for 110 V. The "light shelf" cannot be cut to size because of the wiring. |
