Børge Mogensen designed the Hunting Chair in 1950 for the autumn exhibition of the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild, whose theme that year was ‘The Hunting Lodge’. The frame is made of oak while seat and back are of butt leather with adjustable straps – a rustic and masculine combination that Mogensen developed later in other pieces such as the Spanish Chair. The eye-catching and dynamic design with a front seat edge height of just 30 cm is typical for the era.

A simple, minimalist and comfortable lounge chair designed by Peter Karpf as a new variant of the Agitari dining chair. It’s a modern lounge chair that harkens back to the classic German Bauhaus lounge chair designs from the 1920s. The chair is distinguished by its slim, elegant shell and light, springy ”Freiswinger” frame, which almost gives the impression of sitting in a rocking chair. The Agitari Lounge is available in oak, walnut and makassar, with a polished or matte frame. A version with an upholstered top side is also available.

In 2002, the Association of Danish Furniture Industries selected Christina Strand’s easy chair Rex as winner of the design competition “A chair for the Crown Prince ”. The materials were deliberately chosen with Crown Prince Frederik in mind: for the competition, the elegant folded shell was made from Danish leached oak. The shell is upholstered with Greenland seal skin and the matt chrome supporting frame rests on an X - for Frederik X. The at once classic and modern chair ensures a high degree of comfort due to the steam-bent shell with its broad, curved back and the lower supporting frame, which has an auto return swivel mechanism. Rex is also available in lacquered birch and walnut as well as a fully upholstered version. Christina Strand has also designed a table to go with the chair and like its predecessor, it too boasts an X-shaped supporting frame.

Icon Lounge comes with leather or fabric covers and a stainless steel frame. The easy chair is also available with a swivel base with automatic return swivel, which is deactivated while the chair is in use. The swivel base comes in chrome, mat chrome or powder coated. A matching coffee table, Mirror Lounge (8705) is available.

The Spanish Chair is Børge Mogensen’s masterly interpretation of a traditional type of chair often found in areas influenced by ancient Islamic culture – from Andalusia to northern India. Mogensen drew inspiration from a trip to Spain in 1958. He modernised the shape, eliminating the elaborate carvings while retaining the important feature: the broad armrests that give the chair character and provide a practical place to put a glass or cup. The combination of oak and butt leather gives a strong, rustic appearance.

Coco fascinates with its classical but nevertheless modern lines. The strength of the shell contrasts harmonically with the easy lightness of the inserted cushion-elements. The clarity of the outer lines connects with the comfort and cosiness of the Savoir Vivre.
The name says it all; it stands for Coco Chanel’s elegance and cosmopolitan openness as well as the safety of a closed coconut.
The variety of fabrics and leathers available make sure that Coco is an ideal choice for a wide variety of environments, from elegant clubbing atmospheres to modern entry and waiting areas.
Coco is a collection that doesn’t try to stand out yet has a strong and expressive character.

Stainless is a new collection by Enrico Franzolini, who also designed Moroso's best-selling Steel range seen in the world's top hotels and other prestigious settings. Stainless was designed with the contract environment in mind but it would also be perfect for the home.
Stainless's design is new and modern, clean and simple, elegant and discreet.
"The Stainless collection for Moroso features a flat-bar steel trim outlining the chairs' load-bearing side panels. A clear reference to the Steel collection, designed in the '90s, with its visible, load-bearing steel square-tube frame. The Stainless collection is therefore designed to create continuity with and provide a perfected, lighter look of a seating collection valued for its understatement, elegance and durability".
The collection is composed of a sofa, armchair, lounge chair, chair and stools.
With Stainless, Moroso continues its R&D aimed at guaranteeing finely-detailed, superior quality articles while preserving aspects of craft production which add a special touch to its products and make them unique.
