A wood-burning stove offers both tradition and economical operation. It recreates the ambiance of a fireplace with five times the heating efficiency.
Choice will depend on various factors. Installation possibilities include wall, built-in central and corner. The stove can burn wood, wood pellets or a combination of wood and coal. Most stoves are of cast iron, but welded steel, steatite and sheet metal covered with firebrick are also options. The finish may be ceramic, steatite, marble, aluminum or another material. Some models can serve as an oven or offer double or post-combustion features.
