The partition wall has an overall thickness of 100mm and has two standard module sizes in the vertical; 511 and 1,022mm while in the horizontal, standard module sizes are 1,022, 1,533 and 2,044mm with any intermediate dimension made to measure. The internal framework of the partition consists entirely of 65 x 22mm metal box sections with holes specially formed in the uprights to accommodate the transoms, to ensure rapid and sturdy assembly.
The uprights, housed in purpose made “U” section guides at floor and ceiling level, are fitted with adjustable feet, enabling the frame to be perfectly fixed and leveled.
The panels and plinths are 18mm thick, melamine faced, perimeter edged in 1mm PVC and fixed with brackets to the uprights, fully enclosing the framework; the latter is fitted with 6mm PVC gaskets between each panel, for infill purposes as well as appearance. Panels are demountable, to provide access to the cavity. The partition is supplied complete with stops and compression seals to improve the level of sound absorbency. Glazing frames are in aluminium, rounded for single glazing but flush with the partition for double-glazing and complete with soft PVC gaskets.
Glazing, both clear and acid etched, is toughened 3+3mm laminated glass complying with current regulations. The blank panels are filled with 50mm thick, low bio-resistance, water-repellent glass wool, treated with thermosetting resin. The glass wool is incombustible, asbestos free, does not produce toxic gases in the event of fire and is faced on both sides with PE coated KRAFT paper (density 40kg / m3).
|
|
The frame is composed of uprights and intermediate profiles made from galvanized steel. Melamine-faced particle board panels (TecnoSpace collection) are invisibly secured to this frame by means of a unique retainer system. This produces a flat wall with minimal 'V pencil junction.
The internal cavity is filled with mineral wool to improve the acoustical and thermical insulation.
The frame of the glazed wall is assembled on site. After this, prefabricated shop-assembled double-glazed window units are fitted in the frame.

Charm & Privacy
We created this original and modular equipable partition system with galvanized steel structure in order to provide innovative, simple and effective solutions.
DIVA has some unique characteristics, it is possible to remove any modules without affecting adjacent components and the “double faced” panels are independent, interchangeable and reversible. The shape of the steel posts characterizes the system, protected by international patent, allowing clip on glazed and solid panel fixing.
Acoustic insulation and reaction to fire. The DIVA partition system offers a high level of soundproofing to the environments it surrounds thanks to gaskets inserted between its elements and the contact points with the
existing surfaces (floor, ceiling outer walls).

Why a String? You might well ask yourself why we chose this name for a partitioning system. Until, that is, you get to know the system a little better and take a closer look at its exceptional design. Then everything suddenly becomes clear. You see its beautifully moulded thin contours. The refined, subtle lines of its design. You see how the maximum attractiveness has been achieved with the minimum of materials. You experience the seductive look and feel of the colours and materials. And discover the system’s suppleness and surprising flexibility that allows it to fit into every plan or project. String.

How beautiful can efficiency be? Take one look at String2 and you know the answer: with this system, partitioning decorations are superfluous. String2 provides the beauty of simplicity. Take, for example, the ingenious 'flush' technique used to join the double glass of the 'Bi-blocks' to the steel frame. Note the simple shadow joints between the panels and be surprised at the way in which the doors form one elegant unity with partitioning systems and doorposts. But String2 also sets new standards in functionalism and ease of use. For example, the system can be 'clicked' together extremely easily. And it can be modified and extended just as easily. Or dismantled and re-erected elsewhere. The system also stands out for its great stability and durabilitythanks in part to partitioning systems that are just a bit thicker than usual. String2 is built to last. And it will look just as good in ten years' time as it does now. Last but not least, String2 performs way above average when it comes to fire safety and acoustics. But that's pretty much what you would expect. After all, it's a Maars product.

Clestra's THEMA partition is an elegant partition. It is characterised by the design of the horizontal and vertical profiles, the elegance of the recessed joint to the junctions, the style of the doorway and the subtleness of its various glazed panels.
THEMA panels are demountable. They are made up from two independent frame-mounted sides. The width of the 16 mm thick facings can be adapted depending on the layout of the building. The product's design allows the appearance of the panels to be varied. For example, THEMA allows solid and glazed horizontal panels of different heights and a width that can be as much as 3000 mm.
These options give the partition extremely attractive aesthetic possibilities. The Clestra THEMA partition provides a wide range of quality finishes in: melamine laminate or lacquered natural wood veneer.

The S9 partition is a variation of the S range partition.
The whole frame structure is identical and only the wall mounted panels provide this high quality finish aspect, the hollow joint.
To underline or erase the partition. Choose the hollow joint, vertical or horizontal.
Covered using every panel type available on the market, laminated melamine or cladded with genuine wood, 16 or 19 mm thick.
S9 one or two sides
The use of a frame structure from the S range allows to have an S9 finish on either one or both sides of the partition. The customisation of an office or passageway in an arrangement of standard partitions is easy and economical.
|
|
The traditional cover strip is removed and the assembly of the facings is provided by buttons.
For glazed partitions or solid partitions
A 13 mm hollow joint between the facings reveals the aluminium upright that can be lacquered in any colour.
Compatible with every 6 to 8 mm thick glass panes with polished edges, or with 12 to 13 mm thick panels with cladded edges, this system offers every dimensional freedom of volumes within the panel dimensions available.
Using the same products, in terms of frame structure as well as facing, except for the treatment of the edge of glass panes and panels, the cost of this partition remains realistic, especially since it can be combined with the 3 other choices of standard Clipper finish - S5 - S7 - S9 which can be individually selected for each side of the partition.

ANAUNIA moveable soundproof glass partitions offer the solution to the most difficult requests from architects to plan innovative offices, or for flexible ways of working in well-lit, functional and contemporary environments.
The ANAUNIA system is formed of independent glass panels inserted into an aluminium frame which, owing to the smooth gliding mechanism along ceiling-mounted tracks, fixes into position almost invisibly. The panels are opened, closed and soundproofed by a handle-operated system, which allows the upper and lower buffers to move. When the doors forming part of the panel slide into the unit, they are also transparent
The absolute transparency and the minimal space they occupy does not reduce the quality of the soundproofing (up to Rw = 42dB) by using different types of glass, including security room glass from 6 to 33 mm in width
The design and integration with the surrounding environment can also be improved by the opportunity include Venetian blinds, hand-operated or solar-powered blinds, and different grades of tinted glass.
The wide range of thicknesses don’t limit the availability, in place of glass, panels of different materials in an infinite variety of finishes, thereby changing the planned destination from shop to restaurant, or from house to office.

Modular Walls with concealed monitoring technique for added security
The protection of Art requires a highly sophisticated security technique that is not visible to visitors and which does not influence the aesthetic of Art or objects being displayed.
At the same time, the modular walls are required to be flexible for designing Temporary, Traveling, and or Art Exhibitions. MBA Design & Display products Corp. has developed a unique security technique that conceals the detection field inside the wall.
mila-wall® modular walls can be prepared for concealed object monitoring that can be connected to an alarm system. Electrodes are built into the wall in a defined area (as shown). This area creates an electrical detection field when connected to an alarm system of your choice. An electrical field will surround and protect the art or object hung on the wall module. Any change of the field by people or objects will change the electrical field which in turn releases an announcement. This announcement can be forwarded to a facility alarm system or it can release an optical or acoustical alarm directed at the protected object. The electrical field begins at approximately 39” (1000 mm) from the bottom of the wall module and ends at approximately 98” (2500 mm) from the bottom. This provides a detection field of approximately 60” (1500 mm) in height. The sensitivity in which an alarm is released can be adjusted to meet your requirements. The maximum detection distance begins approximately 15 ½” (400 mm) away from the wall module.

New interactive sound wall
mila-wall soundwall can now be constructed with integrated sensors to complement the invisible loudspeakers. These sensors react to movement or touch. Both sensors trigger a response from a mini computer, on which audio messages are stored as MP3 files on a compact flash card. The touch sensitive sensors can also be used for volume control.
Each wall module surface can contain up to 16 independently positioned sensors. The sensors are completely invisible. Sound can be played by simply touching the sensor fields. Interactive soundwall will attract more interest in your exhibit, by allowing your audience to hear as well as see the exhibition.
Innovation award
MBA wins 2008 innovation award in architecture and presentation for the product mila-wall soundwall in the category of products with high architectural quality.
