Inspired by the unique magic of the Mediterranean, the PIAZZA collection fashionably combines classical ornaments with elegant colours on rich damask fabrics.
Perfectly matching classy colour schemes such as tangerine and olive green, bordeaux red and gold, cream, cocoa and terracotta as well as azure, indigo and gold offer plenty of room for creativity and individual, uncomplicated design ideas.
Rich in both structure and visual effects, the collection's furnishing and upholstery fabrics are all made of Trevira CS chenille and lustre yarns and blend in excellently with their surroundings, be they classically stylish private homes or elegantly furnished hotel rooms.
The collection is complemented by matching moirés as well as single-coloured stripe and small-pattern honeycomb velours.

The house like a secret garden that reveals small fabric jewels and exalts the luxury and preciousness of materials. Ca' Rezzonico is a tribute to the preciousness and brightness of silk. In twelve new tones which highlight the shiny iridescence of the material, the fabrics in the collection are offered in plain, damask, an elegant ribbed version, and a very modern corteccia motif, a pattern that resembles tree bark. The fabrics, all in large width, are combined to form precious patchworks in the co-ordinating home linens, a line which brings the discrete luxury of the fabric collection to the bedroom.

Inspired by the grandeur of great Italian opera houses, Palazzo is a collection of opulent damasks in two classic designs. Boheme features a traditional acanthus motif reminiscent of ornate gilt mirrors. An Ikat weave detail enhances the design, to give a soft shimmering effect. The traditional stripe Rigoletto is beautifully coloured to co-ordinate with Boheme, in antique shades of faded rose, ciel and gold leaf. The colour palette for the collection has been drawn from palatial Aubusson carpets. Palazzo fabrics are suitable for drapery and occasional upholstery.

This collection of floral prints takes its title from the seat of the kings of Ireland until the 6th century and evokes the mystique of that ancient land and its grand houses, gardens and castles. The monuments at the Hill of Tara were built over a period of 4,000 years. The Hill of Tara is located in modern day County Meath, Leinster near the River Boyne. All the designs except KILKEA and BEECHWOOD have direct companions in TARA WALLPAPERS; TARA CHENILLE provides versatile plain co-ordinates.

In season with the ever cooler days of autumn when you want to spend more time in your own four walls, Backhausen presents its new CHALET Country House Collection.
A multitude of co-ordinated upholstery and interior-design fabrics exploiting a wide range of colours, textures and patterns endow warmth and harmony to every living room, whether in the country cottage or in the town house.
The country house theme is interpreted in upholstery fabrics with a romantically soft floral volute, a generously meandering and richly textured chenille check, a glossy rhomboid motif in a blend of materials, a broad, fluffy chenille stripe alternating with a refreshing contrast colour, and co-ordinated chenille monochromes. The interior design fabrics are embellished with an embroidered decoration of charmingly scattered foliate volutes as well as with stripes and checks.
The wide range of colour themes encompasses red and green, green and brown, terra and cream, brown and camel, and blue and brown, each enhanced with harmonious ecru and off-white tones, all summoning a magical atmosphere of warmth and gaiety into your life.
The CHALET Collection fabrics are safe, durable, long-life and easy to care for – thanks to the flame-retardant Trevira CS fibre. What is more, they are environmentally friendly and reusable thanks to the Returnity technology developed by Backhausen!
