OKATECH Insulating Glass with Metal Interlayer
Object design with the design object
The innovative power of OKALUX has much to offer for the design oriented architect: a design element in the area of multi-pane glazing called OKATECH.
OKATECH is an insulating glass with metal interlayer. Various textures such as metal interlays, expanded metal grids or ornaments with perforations ("holes") with different colour coverings become combined with sun protecting or heat loss covering and thus add glow, structure and texture to the insulating glass. Emphasis is given to the interplay of visual attractions, light and shadow, glow and structure, light diffusion and reflection. Tightly woven patterns in façade glazings can almost "exclude" glare caused during the zenith of the summer
sun.

OKAWOOD Insulating glass with timber inserts
As a natural material, wood creates a very comfortable atmosphere inside buildings. This is also true for the glazing: The incorporation of wood into the glazing projects the exclusive natural raw material and its special colouration. OKAWOOD with its timber grid in the interpane cavity allows warmly coloured light to fall into the room. OKAWOOD with timber veneer adds the emotional warmth and vitality of the natural material to the building's contours - the exclusive woods are protected from UV- radiation and any other climatic conditions.

KAPILUX - Capillary System
KAPILUX is an insulating glass which contains a capillary panel. This panel is made of honeycombed, glass- clear or white tubes.

OKALUX - Light Diffusing Insulating Glass
OKALUX insulating glass elements with capillary inlays are beautiful and highly efficient. The diffuse the daylight deep into the room and simultaneously provide an excellent sun and glare control. Their heat insulation properties are impressive and the transmission values of the glass can be individually adjusted to suit the requirements of your buildings.
The insulating glass elements contain copious translucent or white capillary tubes in the inter-pane cavities. These split up the incident daylight and diffuse it throughout the interior room.

Contemporary building technologies demand ever increasing standards of thermal insulation combined with appropriate levels of solar control. SunGuard High Selective products are designed to reflect specific wavelengths of solar radiation, ensuring that whilst most of the heat is reflected out of the building, the maximum amount of natural daylight is transmitted inside the building. The resulting energy savings for the heating, cooling and lighting provide improved design flexibility for the architect.

Ambience double-glazing consists of two or more lights of glass separated by chambers filled with air or other dehydrated gas.
An aluminium spacer containing a desiccant is used to separate the lights.
The unit stays dry thanks to a double layer of moisture-proof sealing.
The second sealant keeps the two lights firmly in place and ensures the integrity of the system.
