Neopariés® LT is a unique glass building material, made by a highly sophisticated and specialized technique of crystallizing glass. The many performance attributes of Neopariés LT make it an ideal alternative to tile for interior and exterior walls and partitions.
With a bright and clean appearance, Neopariés LT is available in large flat or curved panels and comes in white or black. Unlike natural stone or granite, Neopariés LT is nearly graffiti proof - greatly reducing maintenance problems and costs. The extremely smooth surface yields zero water absorption and nearly eliminates damage that can be caused by acids or alkalis. Neopariés LT is characterized by an extremely high sheen. This reflectivity of light frequently allows the reduction of artificial lighting, thus saving energy costs.

This thermal process makes it possible to curve the glazing which marries its mould support then.
CURVEX increases the possibilities of transparency and vision which are not deteriorated any more by the structures wood or metal imposed by the implementation of plane glazings.
The product thus naturally finds its place in the fitting, the furniture and more particularly the furniture of commercial presentation.

By heating glass to huge temperatures it can be curved to virtually any shape. As with anything there are always limitations and some very tight radiuses can not be achieved, but these limitations reduce year after year as new technology becomes available.
In many ways curved glass emphasises the essential properties of glass as a substance. Glass is a liquid and, by including curved sections in a scheme, it softens the footprint and highlights the fragility of the structure.
The process of heating glass in order to bend it does create some distortion across the surface. However this enhances the effect and adds an idiosyncratic view of the outside world.

SCHOTT PYRANOVA® - Special glass for integrity and insulation fire resistant glazing.
PYRANOVA® fire-resistant glass is a clear, laminated composite glass, consisting of at least two float glass panes. A transparent fire resistant layer, which foams in the case of fire, is incorporated between the panes. PYRANOVA®, applied in fire resistant glazing, avoids the passage of fire, smoke and heat radiation.
PYRANOVA® meets the safety and insulated fire resistant requirements of many applications, in double glazed or butt jointed systems.
The PYRANOVA® Planline system provides fire protection with an appealing look in which the glazing fits flush to the frame construction.

|
PYRAN® fire-resistant glass - The original, made of borosilicate.
Borosilicate glass is the basis material for the entire PYRAN® fire restistant glazing product family. PYRAN® fulfils the requirements of fire resistance category E, thus providing a barrier against fire, hot gases and smoke.
PYRAN® S is the product with the highest multi-functionality in SCHOTT's fire resistant glazing product range. The glass fulfils the requirements for a single-pane safety glass and, at the same time, is suitable for all applications up to fire resistance category E 120 in a thickness range of 5 to 12 mm with maximum dimensions of 1,800 x 3,600 mm* (for thicknesses 8 to 12 mm.
The interaction of innovative system solutions and creative freedom to design realises the full potential of PYRAN®S.

SuperLite I-XL is a patented breakthrough, monolithic technology that reduces the transfer of radiant heat by reflecting heat back towards the fire source. It minimizes the threat of scorching heat which can limit the safe egress of occupants and can cause the fire to spread to adjacent areas. SuperLite I-XL 45/60, the first and only product of its kind to be introduced in the USA, was developed by SAFTI FIRST in 1993 and has been installed in locations throughout the USA Authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) across the country have approved this non-hose stream tested product because of its ability to reflect radiant heat and stay in the opening for over one hour, allowing for safe egress of occupants. Most AHJs recognize that the hose stream test was designed for structural building integrity and not as a thermal stress test for fire-rated glazing. Sprinkler activation does not compromise the performance of SuperLite I-XL.

|
|
SuperLite I is the first wireless, monolithic, safety and fire-rated glazing manufactured in the USA, offering excellent clarity with colorless and distortion-free optics. SuperLite I was developed and priced to replace existing traditional wired glass installations, now recognized by international code bodies as unsafe. SuperLite I remains the choice for use in construction where high impact safety and 20 minute fire ratings are required.
|
|
|
SuperLite II-XL 45 is a fire resistive, technically advanced glazing product that blocks radiant heat transfer to meet ASTM E119 requirements. SAFTI FIRST was the first to provide this new technology to the USA in 1982. SuperLite II-XL products have been tested to the stringent wall standard and therefore are considered a “transparent wall.” Fire resistive glazing allows for greater design flexibility while other fire protective glazing products, such as ceramics, are limited by code to interior applications of 45 minutes or less and to 25% of the wall area.
|
|
SuperLite I-XL patented technology now affords fire-rated products to have energy performance similar to all insulated units. SuperLite I-XL IGU provides the highest energy efficiency available in fire protective products as well as radiant heat protection which is not provided by most 45 or 60 minute fire protective exterior products.
The technology of SuperLite I-XL IGU as compared to ceramics blocks up to 90% of the dangerous radiant heat generated by a nearby fire. This added protection stops the fire from jumping to adjacent properties while maintaining its integrity. The superior clarity of SuperLite I-XL IGU, when compared to ceramics amber tint & ‘orange peel’ effect, provides optimal vision. While SuperLite I-XL IGU provides additional benefits and greater clarity than ceramics, it is less than half the price.

LightPoints
Light, Innovation, Future
LightPoints offer the unique ability to allow light diodes (LEDs) to float freely inside glass and glow.
LightPoints create the perfect setting for trade fairs and exhibitions or enable shops to glow. Furthermore, they allow for unique product presentations and set individual accents with furniture and interior design. Individual sized modules and flexible placement of the LEDs and invisible wiring make it possible for LightPoints products to fit in with any design and accommodate basically any size area, either indoors or outside.
SCHOTT PowerControl is equipped with LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) and affixed to a cover glass to form PVB (polyvinyl butyral) laminated safety glass. The power (low-voltage direct current) is supplied via almost invisible circuit boards. Various colors and quantities of the LED LightPoints™ can be put to use. The glass units are also available in different sizes. The PVB laminated glass satisfies the legislative requirements with respect to fall protection glazing and fulfills EN 12 600.
Conductive PVB laminated glass can also be used to supply external devices with power. Because the base glass pane that provides the electrical contact does not require any holes, it can also be put to use effectively outdoors. This technology can be used for a broad spectrum of applications. Now, even the handles of doors made entirely of glass can be illuminated and light sources already in use can be replaced without difficulty.

MIRONA™Semi-Transparent Mirrored Glass
MIRONA™ - the silvery, noble-looking metamorphosis glass from SCHOTT
MIRONA™ from SCHOTT is a mineral glass that has been coated on both sides with an optical interference layer to enable a defined degree of reflection and transparency. This glass fulfills two different functions and delivers effects that are absolutely unbelievable. In front of a lit background, MIRONA™ looks like a transparent pane of glass. In front of a dark surface, it acts as a mirror, providing a homogeneous, silvery brilliance. As a result, MIRONA™ opens up unlimited fantastic design options.

NARIMA™ - The living glass
This dichroic color effect glass from SCHOTT produces dazzling variable color effects with spectacular depth effects depending on the position, reflection and transmittance.
Extremely thin layers are applied to the glass using the SOL-GEL dipping process. The coated glass subsequently consists of multiple optical interference layers that account for the various intentional color effects.
The predominantly oxidic layers are hard and highly resistant to both scratches and chemicals.
A combination of highly refractive and low-refractive layers results in a rainbow effect. Different colors result depending on incident solar radiation, the viewing angle and the background.
