The main areas of application for Thermofloc cellulose insulation are roof insulation (full rafter insulation without rear ventilation), and the insulation of walls and ceilings. One important area of application is the insulation of old buildings which lack adequate thermal protection.
Roof insulation: Thermofloc Blow-in Insulation is installed in the existing construction - without any need to cover the roof afresh. Thanks to the technique used, this procedure saves considerable costs.

UltraTouch Nature Blend Cellulose is the perfect loose-fill insulating product for attic applications, where many homeowners place their highest performing insulation. UltraTouch Nature Blend Cellulose is an easy and effective option for increasing your ceiling insulation's performance by adding onto existing installations or giving your attic an update by replacing older, less effective products. When choosing to use UltraTouch Nature Blend Cellulose, you can be sure that you are not only increasing the energy efficiency of your home but you are also making the sustainable product choice. UltraTouch Nature Blend Cellulose is comprised of post-consumer recycled paper and treated with a borate solution, ensuring not only high performance but health and safety in your insulation choice!

Unlike the Blow-in Insulation, Thermofloc Floor Filling is processed by hand and used exclusively as a non-pressure-resistant insulation at the horizontal level (ceiling on the top storey, between joists in a wood-joist floor construction).
In order to ensure better manual processing, the insulation material is less compressed in the packaging. Thermofloc Floor Filling is available in 12 kg sacks, with 24 sacks per pallet. The insulation material is simply poured on evenly to achieve the desired insulation thickness and then spread to form a level surface. Material consumption is approx. 35 kg/m³.

Thermofloc Insulation Pellets have been developed for the construction of floors and soundproofing intermediate ceilings. They are easy to apply manually as a loose dry filling material in granule form without any special training.
The Thermofloc insulation pellets can be used both as a supporting component and as a pour-in insulation to fill empty cavities. Handling is facilitated by the material’s high density (500 kg/m³) and the extremely small amount of dust it produces. Like the blow-in insulation, this product is safe from the organic architectural viewpoint, and offers an attractive price-performance ratio.

Ready-mixed and highly effective thermo-dehumidifying insulating plaster, composed by water binders, virgin expanded polystyrene pellets and special additives
|
|
Fine grain
Ready-mixed thermo-insulating base, composed by very light inert material obtained from virgin expanded polystyrene pellets with a constant grain size (ø 2 mm.) and controlled density. Each single pellet has been treated during the production phase with the E.I.A. additive.

|
|
Highly effective thermal insulating ready-mixed plaster, composed by water binders and expanded virgin polystyrene pellets. It is a specific material for the realization of thermal insulation in hollows and on airy facing walls.
|
|
Tight cell expanded polystyrene virgin pellet, specific for the dry blowing into hollows and confined volumes. The pellets have a constant grain size in curve (pellets diameter 3-6 mm) and controlled density, they are perfectly spherical, non-toxic, not absorbing, incorruptible, lastingly dimensionally stable, free of nourishing substances for bacteria and fungus.
Production totally free from the use of Chlorine Fluorine Carbides.

sulation solution.
Incredibly fast to install and with no waste, it is just as suitable for new build as it is for improving the thermal performance of existing buildings.
Ecobead is a truly modern method of construction. In new build construction you can build both leaves of a cavity wall right up to the roofline, with no stopping and starting to install the insulant. The insulating bead can be injected at any subsequent stage, speeding construction programmes and reducing costs.
The EPS beads are injected into the wall with a specially designed adhesive and bond together forming a solid mass inside the cavity. The unique flow of bead coupled with its lightness enables the insulant to conform precisely to every fissure of the block and brickwork, producing a complete fill every time. The beads%u2019 spherical structure creates tiny air pockets in the insulant once the adhesive has dried.
Every bead has a single point of contact with each of the surrounding beads, allowing the cavity to breathe and any moisture penetrating the outer leaf to drain away immediately.
EcoBead is unaffected by flood water ingress where water is free from harmful contaminants. Please contact our technical department for further information.
Ecobead is available in original white EPS or as Platinum, to provide even higher insulation values.
Platinum EcoBead is an EPS bead which incorporates a graphite component called Neopor®, manufactured by BASF, to provide significantly improved thermal insulation performance, for example, to achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes or just to improve SAP ratings.

Hemp for stuffing applications is the no.1 moisture regulating gap filler!
Fields of application are the gaps between the beams and the walls as well as the hollow spaces next to windows and doors. Its use for skylights in the cover frame, in order to prevent damage caused by condense water, has also proved successful. Hemp for stuffing applications consists of mechanically processed hemp fibres which are impregnated with 3-5% soda.

INPRO Loose Fill Perlite insulation is an inert volcanic glass expanded by a special heat process. The resultant lightweight product is a white granular material that handles and pours easily. It provides a quick, inexpensive and permanent method for efficiently insulating masonry walls. Depending upon design conditions, reductions in heat transmission of 50% or more may be obtained when perlite loose fill is used in the hollow cores of concrete block or cavity type masonry walls (Perlite Institute Inc. 1989).

Perlite and vermiculite have been used for years as an aggregate in lightweight, insulating concrete and plaster, and as a loose fill insulation material for concrete masonry blocks, cavity walls, and in residential homes. They also are used in a variety of specialty applications ranging from fireproofing sprays, chimney fills, interstitial floors, acoustical sprays, etc.
|
|
Exfoliated Vermiculite is well established as an excellent thermal insulating material capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 1000°C. The free flowing properties of loose-fill Vermiculite make installation very simple in applications such as loft insulation.
The insulating properties of Vermiculite significantly reduce the loss of heat in cold weather and keep the interior cool in hot weather. Vermiculite is clean to handle, non-abrasive, sound absorbent, resistant to decay, odourless and non-irritant.

Free-flowing, drainable vermiculite insulation specially treated for water repellency and used to insulate masonry wall cores and cavities. It also increases the fire resistance rating and Sound Transmission Classification (STC) of the wall system. It is lightweight, non-toxic and non-flammable.

Loose fill vermiculite can be used between joists in lofts for home insulation. The free flowing properties of exfoliated vermiculite make installation very simple. The insulating properties of vermiculite significantly reduce the loss of heat in cold weather and keep the interior cool in hot weather. It also functions as a sound absorbent material.
Right other novel insulation uses include incubation of reptile eggs.
