Neopariés® is a unique glass building material, made by a highly sophisticated and specialized technique of crystallizing glass. The many performance attributes of Neopariés make it an ideal alternative to stone for interior and exterior walls, as well as interior floors, counters and table tops.
With a marble-like appearance, Neopariés is available in large flat or curved panels. As it is dramatically stronger than marble or granite it may be used in thinner and lighter configurations. Unlike natural stone or granite, Neopariés is nearly graffiti proof - greatly reducing maintenance problems and costs. The extremely smooth surface yields zero water absorption and nearly eliminates damage that can be caused by by acids or alkalis. Neopariés is characterized by an extremely high sheen. This reflectivity of light frequently allows the reduction of artificial lighting, thus saving energy costs. |

Neopariés® LT is a unique glass building material, made by a highly sophisticated and specialized technique of crystallizing glass. The many performance attributes of Neopariés LT make it an ideal alternative to tile for interior and exterior walls and partitions.
With a bright and clean appearance, Neopariés LT is available in large flat or curved panels and comes in white or black. Unlike natural stone or granite, Neopariés LT is nearly graffiti proof - greatly reducing maintenance problems and costs. The extremely smooth surface yields zero water absorption and nearly eliminates damage that can be caused by acids or alkalis. Neopariés LT is characterized by an extremely high sheen. This reflectivity of light frequently allows the reduction of artificial lighting, thus saving energy costs. |

Fire-resistant and retardant glasses are laminated glasses consisting of Planibel float glass assembled with one or more intumescent interlayers.
In the event of fire, these layers expand, forming a protective screen.
Product range:
Pyrobel
Pyrobelite
Pyrostar

Thermal Tempering is when glass is re-heated to just below its melting point, then suddenly cooled by directing multiple jets of cold air at a controlled pressure onto its surface.
By this means, the outer surface of the glass is subjected to compression and its interior to traction. The intensity of these two forces depends on the temperature that was reached just before cooling starts, enabling the production of tempered or heat-strengthened glass.

Ambience double-glazing consists of two or more lights of glass separated by chambers filled with air or other dehydrated gas.
An aluminium spacer containing a desiccant is used to separate the lights.
The unit stays dry thanks to a double layer of moisture-proof sealing.
The second sealant keeps the two lights firmly in place and ensures the integrity of the system.

Low-emissivity ARIPLAK Low E is a high performance glass.
In the manufacturing process, one or more layers of metal and metallic oxide are deposited on one of the glass surfaces by a process of high vacuum cathodic pulverisation.
This treatment is carried out at a low temperature, not affecting the flatness of the glass.

ARIPLAK Solar Control Glass is produced by depositing one or more metallic layers onto the glass surface by means of high vacuum cathodic pulverisation.
This treatment is carried out at a low temperature, not affecting the flatness of the glass.
The sun has a surface temperature of 5,700 K. At this temperature it emits radiation whose peak can be found on a wavelength of 500 nanometres (central zone of visible radiation); this radiation is partially absorbed by the earth’s atmosphere.
The distribution of the remaining energy on the earth’s surface Ariplak Solar Control Glass allows greater control over light and energy transmission, and offers a wide range of aesthetic options.
In climate-controlled spaces, where air-conditioning is essential, it is advantageous to eliminate as much of the sun’s radiant energy as possible.
This multi-layered metallic coated glass provides the solution, along with subsequent energy savings.
When the coatings are combined with tinted glass, many different reflected hues can be created, making available a full range of colours and solar protection properties

A new technology has been developed to increase the performance of traditional double-glazing, where the traditional aluminium spacer is replaced for a thermo-plastic material (TPS).
This unique system allows the use of a high molecular weight gas filling, together with a structural silicone sealant.
The TPS formulation is based on polyisobutylene, desiccants and ultra-violet inhibitors.

| Royal Blue 40 comes in three colors - royal blue, blue gray and aquamarine - while blocking heat gain. |
|
Look at standard clear glass for a moment, and you'll see that it isn't really clear - there's a slight greenish hue.
But SunGuard UltraWhite is virtually free of color, making it perfect for curtain walls, atriums, skylights, entranceways and storefronts - in other words, anywhere you want an even more striking neutral color. |

| Offset Glazed (OS) Systems offer a shallow face reveal which creates a flush exterior appearance. OS Systems were designed for labor-saving stacking-type installations and may be inside or outside glazed. Internal water deflectors at intersection of intermediate horizontal and vertical mullions allow infiltrated water to be drained into a continuous sill gutter and weeped to the exterior. Optional vertical mullions for structural silicone glazing are available for 1/4" glazing infills. These systems accommodate most United States Aluminum entrance doors. |

Glasses which have been heat-treated to increase their resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses.
The glass is heated to more than 600 °C and then gradually cooled.
Heat-strengthened glass is mainly used to prevent breakage caused by thermal stresses. It is not considered a safety glass. When broken, this type of glass shatters into large pieces that remain in the frame.

Laminated glass is made by bonding two or more simple lights of glass to PVB (polyvinyl butyral) sheets, a plastic substance with excellent adhesion, elasticity, transparency and resistance.
It is also possible to temper glass before laminating (Stralami Temper).
|
|
Laminated glass: two layers of 12mm (1/2") clear tempered glas with an interlayer of 0.090" |
|
| Laminated glass consists of two or more lites that are permanently bonded by heat and pressure with one or more plastic interlayers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB). Both the glass and the interlayers can be supplied in a variety of colors and thicknesses to provide the desired appearance. |
