Pica presents the Listello for Adhesive Laying, an advanced system for facing your home. Ideal for both new constructions and for renovation work on older buildings, it offers considerable advantages to the architect: its reduced thickness means that it is possible to keep to architectural parameters of appearance and volume; while for the builder, it signifies easy and quick laying. Its main feature (a thickness of just 12 mm) makes it ideal for restructuring, as the increase in building volume is kept to a minimum, eliminating any need for adaptation of sills or window sills. On new constructions, it allows easy and quick application, savings on labour costs, and the same effect offered by extruded facing bricks. As the definitive solution to all problems caused by the deterioration of plaster and whitewash, the listello ensures durability and it is also maintenance free.

Character in a high environmental quality context lies in the coexistence of a strict order and a great variety of shapes. To achieve this objective, a variety of products are required to suit the needs of the designer as well as the conditions of the building. Pica has created a vast range of wall coverings as alternatives to facing bricks, to be used in cases where the finished surface needs to be kept within certain thickness limits. These are hardwearing through time. In the case of listellos and extruded slip bricks, the slightly chamfered short side and the rounded long side provide a very tight interlock at the sides. This creates a longitudinal pattern characterised by slight vertical lines. The finished effect is that of a traditional brick-built wall. Together with the corner slip bricks, a full wall effect is created.

The Marmorit Flexible Brick Slip Systemis designed for use with the Marmorit Render only systems and the Warm Wall Insulationsystems. The lightweight design of the slips enables the safe use of a brick-like façade without the need to have cut bricks embedded into the basecoat render.
