Fiume means 'river' in Italian, and like the rivers and mountain streams this stone generally has a spherical / egg shape. This shape is the result of millions of years of being smoothed by running water and sand, and by constantly rubbing against other stones. The colors vary from light grey to purplish blue. This stone can be applied as a single model but lends itself more to mixtures of different stones in order to create beautiful mosaics for cladding. Application using mortar only.

|
A sober beveled stone that is compact with a regular shape, which evokes the grandeur, robustness, pageantry and 'warmth' of ancient stone buildings. It is ideal for cladding pillars, plinths, and walls of any size.
It should be laid dry.

CREDARO
This cladding takes its name from the stone of the same name that is quarried in the lower Sebino, near Credaro, from cretaceous rock. Since medieval times it has been used in building town centers such as Chiuduno, Castel de’ Conti, and Credaro, and for building monasteries, boundary walls and typical local paving. This stone is reproduced faithfully in the original shape and colors. It is ideal for cladding pillars, plinths, and walls of any size. It lends itself to cladding both classical and modern buildings. It can be laid either dry or with mortar.

The Maniva, from which this stone takes its name, is a ridge about 1860 m above sea level in the province of Brescia. The morphology of the mountainside is generally uneven with alternating gentle and steep downward slopes, with outcrops and morainic debris, molded over millenniums by wind and ice. It requires a longer application time than the others yet looks strikingly similar to the original stone. The surface, with its clearly defined facets, creates tricks of light and shade that are well suited to contemporary projects such as conservation work on old buildings. It can only be applied dry and in horizontal layers.

The name is inspired by one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Italy. This pass which is 2621 meters above sea level can be reached from the Camonica Valley by going along a narrow windy road that begins at Ponte di Legno and twists its way up for about 18 km in a series of steep bends. It is an irregular stone featuring small stones alternating with larger ones. It brings a rustic and yet elegant effect to the surface to which it is applied. Application using mortar only.

AIALE
This is a cladding originating in the hills of Valtrompia in the province of Brescia. If you walk along the verdant woods on the mountain that overlooks the small village of Aiale you can make out, submerged in the vegetation, what used to be a very old local activity - quarrying lime. In these old circular kilns made entirely of local stone, they used to bake quoins of 'Dolomia' stone in order to extract lime.PietraElite AIALE is irregular like magma and tufo. It is perfect for covering small recesses inside buildings but also for large external surfaces. It is laid using the "opus incertum" (uncertain work) system.
