Since 1955 produces the Finnish manufacturer Upofloor Oy PVC sheet floorings for heavy duty applications. Their are marketed under the names "Estrad" "Podium" and "Plano" and feature 2mm thickness and different designs. They are all classified to the best wear group T and are thus used mainly in the public premises of heavy traffic, like schools, hospitals, offices, shops etc. The surface is PUR coated for easy maintanance and cleaning. The collection of "Plano" comprises 12 beautiful uni colors, which is a rarity in the offerings of PVC floorings. A dissipative flooring Estrad ESD has a unique structure which gives this flooring uniform static discharging properties during the whole life cycle of the flooring (for applications like operation rooms in hospitals, electronic and telecommunication industry, chemical industry etc). Contrary to many similar products Estrad ESD can be installed with a normal water based dispersion adhesive!

Upofloor’s ESD-floorings are created for especially demanding use. They conduct static charges, thus protecting sensitive electronic components from discharges of static electricity. Our ESD-floorings meet the ESD-protected area requirements in accordance with the IEC 61340-5-1 standard.

Due to the unique manufacturing method in the world, the compression technique, the Hovi tiles characterize a compact, dense and very durable surface which in addition is PUR coated. This technique makes the tiles also flexible and non-fragile, which makes the Hovi floorings a very easy to install and a very long lasting flooring solution. There are premises where Hovi tiles are installed 40 years ago and they are still in use! Because of the durable and dense surface of Hovi tiles the floors are also not sensitive for a hard basic maintanance with hard chemicals if needed. The surface does not get damage through such cleaning and thus the flooring is easy renewable! Hovi tiles are available in 2mm thickness and in various designs (less and more contrast) and also in UNI colors.
