Our Raffaello Collection takes its inspiration from the Late Empire style, widespread in Italy at the start of the nineteenth century. This style strongly tends to embody the styles that preceded it. Raffaello, by evoking the Late Empire style, recovers the essence of the entire history of classic furnishings, from the Tuscan Renaissance in its inlays to Roman baroque in its carvings.

Eight legs shaped like stately columns reflect the neoclassical inspiration for this handsome desk; grand scale and proportions endow it with room-defining presence. Handcrafted with skill and pride by the artisans at Hickory Chair, one of America's most venerable furniture companies. Using only solid FSC-certified mahogany, they turn the legs, carve the massive stretchers, and hand cut and fit the mortise-and-tenon and English-dovetail joinery. The piece is finished on all four sides using a 22-step process. The three drawers are constructed with English dovetail joinery, and have smooth wood glides and antiqued hampton brass finish pulls. Please allow 6- 8 weeks for delivery. Item comes fully assembled.

The structure of this elegant writing desk is solid wood plated with cherry-wood, zebrano, briar-wood, rosewood and palisander. In the cylindrical body there are 4 wide drawers with 2 extractable, invisible shelves (they are enclosed in the borders). The skirting board is palisander, the parabola is cherry-wood and walnut with inlay filleting.

Leg Collection
Leg Collection comprises tables with round section tubolar frame available in polished chrome or in the special powder paint coating in a satin-finish nickel colour. They are supported by round feet of big diameter. The glass tops of different shapes, rectangular, oval or shaped tops, coloured in red, green, violet and black give dynamism to the environment. There are also tops in melamine finish to create a warm sensation in the office.

The solid sections (such as frames and mouldings) are made from red alder Alnus rubra), one of the most important woods from deciduous trees from the West Coast of North America and the only American type of alder used for utilizable timber on a commercial scale.
The legs and bases are in solid beech. For the veneered sections (fronts, side sections, visible back walls, and panels), cherry is used. With regard to harmful emissions, our base materials comply with Emissions Class E1.

with leather. The desk with sliding tambour top has the base in aluminium
on four wooden feet. The central part is composed of two lines of five drawers each while the top is completed with little drawers.

An update on the traditional bureau desk, this design easily converts any room into an office on demand, the upper door opening to become a work surface. The lower half has hinged doors to conceal items stored on the adjustable internal shelf.
