VENTO is a versatile, compact corner suite which transforms into a cosy comfort zone, a fully fledged double bed or two single beds by easy swivelling.

SOLO e SOLA stands for light-hearted, mobile togetherness.
SOLO e SOLA have softly shaped seats with varying seat depths. When turned together they form a large sleeping area. SOLO e SOLA is available in two widths, with separated backrests, side, back and side cushions as well as with swivel fitting.
SOLO e SOLA are day and dreams.
During the day they face each other and form a spacious setting. The sides and armrests allow for openness on all sides as they can be adjusted in a multitude of ways. Turn them against each other for sleeping on a fantastic bed with a sleeping area of either 148x202cm or 148x217cm.
The convertible corner suite SOLO e SOLA was awarded with the "iF product design award 2007".

The backrests turn into table surfaces and the base of the swivel sofa turns into a bedside table. The polyether upholstery on springs provides the best sitting and sleeping comfort. It is not a sofa. Nor is it a sofa group. And it is certainly not a neatly arranged row of armchairs. What it is is a matchless seating environment that calls to mind the great masterpieces of landscape gardening. Or a perfectly fashioned town en miniature. In his inner eye, Hugo de Ruiter envisaged an unending play of possible additions and variations when he put his concept for the DS-165 down on paper. The result is a new design for contemporary society in its ever-growing quest for the structures of security in the midst of the breakneck change of information technology. The adjustable backrests enable new seating positions to be achieved at will. And thanks to the arrangement of rectangular seating elements, the sofa can develop to fit every living area as if it were a growing organism. You can turn through 360 degrees on Hugo de Ruiter's sofa - with the armrests following on smoothly as required. It heralds in a rediscovery of the pleasure of adapting life to one's prevailing mood. The DS-165 represents an optimistic start into the 21st century and is predestined to become a cult object in the future.
