Frame
The spokes are made out of square aluminium
bars (40 x 20 x 2 mm–50 x 20 x 3 mm). The centre
pole has a wounded aluminium profile. The
umbrella profile contains a U profile for the attachment
of the spokes. The frame is powder coated.
Mechanics
The gearbox and the spindle are contained in the
centre pole and can be operated by handle or
using a motor.
Cover
The cover is made up of individual segments
which are screwed to the frame by Sterling Steel
hooks at the top and by rust-proof screws at the
ends of the spokes. The cover is replaceable and
is fade, light and water resistant. It is designed
to withstand all weather conditions and can be
ordered with valances.

Frame
Spokes are made out of Eucalyptus wood
(17 x 28 – 17 x 35 mm with rounded edges. The
centre pole is 38 - 58 mm in diameter. Turning
pieces are made out of laminated Eucalyptus
wood, outside smoothed, polished and glued. The
wood is quality B3/B4.
Mechanics
Double pulley system. The pulley handle and the
metal parts are made out of stainless steel for
durability and stability, with an integrated latch to
hold the cord while the canvas is open.
Cover
The cover is made up of individual segments

When Samara puts up its roof it becomes the focal point outdoor:
everyone will want to come near it because Samara doses the hot
temperatures and keeps the warmth of the day for a long time in the
evening. If it is put protectively over a table to protect the guests and
the feast from melting, its sophisticated technology comes into use. The clever mechanism moves the shade upwards when closed. This means large shades are also closed above table height - a garden furniture does not need to be cleared. In gastronomy in particular, where the shade is frequently opened and closed, this function saves a lot of time and effort.
Samara is easily operated by using a crank. This is simple to do and requires minimum expenditure of energy. |
