After the effectiveness of the new Technical Building Code which states the obligation for all types of buildings to use thermal solar panels to obtain CAS (hot water), Thermochip has developed for all types of roofs, an ideal system, THERMOSUN.
The THERMOSUN kit includes all the components to be able to install your ACS solar collector. It is easily installed on your THERMOCHIP roof as well as on any other type of roof with easy and versatile assembly, as it allows any type of rear covering. The collectors are integrated in the roof thus minimizing the visual impact of the installation thus safely replacing the traditional roof, and all of that is backed by the guarantee offered by THERMOCHIP on its products.
THERMOSUN is made up of a high performance flat collector for vertical and horizontal collection. The self sustaining frame and the rear cover are corrosion resistant aluminum, and it has mineral wool thermal insulation on its rear part. Under the solar safety glass with a thickness of 4mm is a homogeneous once piece copper absorber with Sunselect covering with a highly selective absorption and mechanical fastening for the absorber. The tubing is installed in a winding shape and it is connected via tubular connections with thermal insulation and without a load.

The use of same connections of sealing as for guaranteed roof windows VELUX an integration made safe in all breeder materials (mechanical roof tiles, roof tiles channel, slates...) and all slopes of roof starting from 15°, as well as a perfect sealing.

The powerful PHOENIX Infinity 3 flat plate collector
The high-tech PHOENIX Infinity 3 flat plate collector will give you years of pleasure because its powerful, full surface absorber gets the best out of the sun. It can be mounted on end or at an angle. The connection positions are also variable, being either on the short side (standard) or on the long side.
Flexible and quick installation on the roof
The collector frames consist of aluminium sections with an integrated and continuous mounting slot (C-section) along the side edges. This gives you considerable flexibility when installing the system on the roof. Heat loss is considerably reduced by the extra thick mineral wool insulation on the back of the collector. The insulation is highly temperature resistant and is made of non-offgassing material.
The collector is covered with special solar safety glass that reduces the reflection losses from the solar radiation. The glass is sealed along the frames with EPDM rubber (double seal) and thus reliably prevents water from penetrating into the collector.
High solar yield through high-performance coating
The heart of the collector is the full-surface absorber with a eta-plus coating - a highly selective, particularly environmentally friendly vacuum coating. The full surface absorber both optimises the collector yield and improves the collector's appearance.

The solar hot-water heater with forced circulation consists from one to three solar collectors, a balloon of storage and a power transfer unit GIORSOL. Traditional, this system uses a liquid antifreeze as coolant to recover the energy absorptive by the sensors and to transmit it via an exchanger, with the balloon of storage.
