The AP669 series ceiling-mount sensors with Dual Optic TechnologyTM each incorporate two independent pyros, two separate custom integrated circuits, and two 180-degree mirror segments that provide two independent fields of view. This design yields 18 solid curtains and increases the sensor's overall volume of coverage, while the two mirrors provide additional flexibility by enabling one mirror segment to be shunted.
The sensor uses patented 4D signal processing technology to evaluate whether the size, speed, shape, and duration of an incoming signal match that generated by a human. This technology automatically adapts its alarm threshold when faced with environmental disturbances for fewer false alarms. |

The systems of detection of shocks are composed of sensitive cables contained in a sheath, creating a magnetic field. Any attempt at intrusion causes the vibration of the cables, the magnetic fields then transmits this information to the external modules.
SORHEA proposes today two solutions of detection of shocks:
- INTREPID MICROPOINT (detection on fence)
- IMPACTOR (detection on cladding)
INTREPID MICROPOINT sticks directly to the fences, detecting the vibrations caused by the cut, the climbing, or other of netting. The system offers a precision to 3m, thus making it possible to discriminate the interferences due to the bad weather, or the passage near heavy vehicles. This precision of localization makes it possible significantly to reduce the rate of false alarms and to optimize the performances of security. INTREPID MICROPOINT guarantees a detection reliable, able, for example, to differentiate an attempt from intrusion, event located, of a strong wind making move the whole of the fence.
Simple to install, INTREPID MICROPOINT requires a minimum of work of civil engineering. Indeed, the cable composing the system with the single characteristic to integrate the functions of sensors, transfer of information and food of the various modules. The system is thus entirely autonomous: one or two access points maximum on the fence is necessary to feed and recover information of alarm.
INTREPID MICROPOINT can adapt to various types of fences. It is indeed frequent to find on the same perimeter various types of fences more or less tended and worn, the cable adapts to it perfectly. |

The 5812-RND detects in a full 360° coverage pattern, with a maximum 25¿ (7.5m) radius from sensor to glass. Using the patented Pattern Recognition Technology¿, the sensor listens for actual patterns of breaking glass while eliminating most false alarm patterns. The 5812-RND listens across the glassbreak frequency spectrum for greater false alarm immunity.
In independent lab tests, the 5812-RND technology provides 25% better false alarm immunity than industry leading glassbreak sensors.
The 5812-RND can be tested without opening the sensor by activating a hand held glassbreak tester at close range. A simple hand clap feature lets end users confirm at any time that the 5812-RND is powered up. |

The Wireless ShatterProTM series, which is ideal for applications where hardwired acoustic sensors are impractical, listens for actual patterns of breaking glass using Pattern Recognition TechnologyTM. These sensors feature a 20-ft. (6 m) range from sensor to glass. The sensor is suitable for use in quiet occupied areas on the perimeter loop.
The sensor's low-profile housing accepts most wireless transmitters inside the back box. Each sensor also ships with a mounting bracket that will hold larger transmitters. No transmitter is included with the sensor, but NX-488 or 60-873-95 are recommended (see ordering).
A simple hand clap feature lets the user confirm that the sensor is operational, or a handheld tester can be activated at close range. |

The GX-252T is a microprocessor-based glassbreak detector utilising dual frequency analysis to detect the common sounds of shattering glass and acoustical shock when a window is broken. The sensor only activates when specific frequency patterns continue for a fixed time period, making it highly immune to false alarms.
The GX-252T protects 3mm (1/8") plate glass and 6mm (1/4") plate, tempered and laminated glass at a range of up to 7.6m.

Specially designed for the protection of exterior facades, MINIRIS II is able to monitor several windows at the same time thanks to its long-range capability.
Its aluminum design and small footprint facilitate its integration on buildings.
False alarms due to birds or small animals are avoided by adjusting the breach time.
These infrared barriers are specially designed for exterior protection of windows, terraces, balconies and other locations that are easily accessible. Nevertheless, it is quite possible to install this product indoors to protect, for example, valuable art works (museums), etc. For better integration, MINIRIS II units can be discreetly deployed because of their slim silhouette and the variety of colors that are offered. |

MAXIRIS 2000 is the highest performing product on the market, creating a veritable invisible and impassable wall. Indeed, it is possible to raise the barrier up to a height of 5 meters and to choose up to 16 beams (depending on the model).
Each column can be configured with respect to the location of the site and configured in order to carry out maintenance.
Networking MAXIRIS 2000 columns opens the way to tele-maintenance and video confirmation using the MAXIMAJ system.
SORHEA also offers the WINMAXI application, which allows real-time visualization of the status of each unit, including the cells and the level of the infrared signal. It also allows review of the event log. It is the indispensable tool for installation and maintenance of MAXIRIS 2000 barriers.
SORHEA’s technology goes even further with network installations for MAXIRIS 2000 barriers thanks to the MAXIBUS hub. In particular, the hub allows simplification of the wiring but also simplifies maintenance for the entire network of MAXIRIS 2000 barriers.

Infrared light
Infrared technology is based on the principle of infrared light invisible to the naked eye.
Beyond visible red light, the spectrum holds near infrared light that is used in active infrared barriers. The cell in a column produces a beam that has a wavelength greater than that of visible light, thereby creating an imperceptible, invisible wall.
Active infrared is generated by a pulsating infrared light source made directional with an angle of about +/- 2° using the lens of the transmitter cell.
The receiver cell located in the transmitter's cone field senses the infrared pulses and transforms them into an electrical signal.
After analysis by the receiving column, the absence of a signal triggers the alarm.
A transmitter generates a pulsed infrared beam that is sensed by one or more receivers without distinction.
In the event all beams are interrupted, the detection signal triggers an alarm by commutation with an electrical switch. |

The VX Series provides an innovative solution to external area detection. It employs a highly reliable dual detection method, which prevents false activations from small animals and birds. Two discrete detection areas are created and only when an intruder is detected in both areas is an alarm output provided.
The VX-402 is ideal for both industrial and domestic installations and can be used to provide triggering into CCTV, lighting or warning systems.
For increased flexibility the new VX-402REC (see opposite) allows the installer to record a customised warning message on-site. The volume of the announcement can be increased by wiring a second speaker into the detector.
Offering all the features of the VX-402, the VX-402REC provides detector-activated voice announcements. As well as the ability to record any message in any language, with its superior playback settings it enables the right message to be played in every situation.
