The "Classiche" collection of Emporio San Firenze is the classic expression of iron and brass, maintaining always a workmanship of elegance and accuracy, necessary to find the essence of the theme. In this collection we go back in time, for the finish using old material and treatments.
The "Floreale" collection is inspired by the romanticism and most of all recalls the classic "ramage" beloved to the tradition of the iron.
The finishes are expressed in the several combinations of polychromes and always hand decorated according to tradition.
The essence of grand style is captured in the Luna Venetian glass collection. Bold and striking geometric forms come together to create a majestic statement by way of century's old artisan glass-making techniques. The Luna Chandeliers and Sconce are admirable forms of art at home in any design setting.

The "Viennese crystal chandelier" soon gained ground because it suited the new type of rooms with low ceilings. It was a basket-like construction made out of chains of glass crystal pieces or simple cylindrical drums hung with chains of similar-sized crystal.
From left to right: One of the most attractive chandelier designs is the one created by Professor Oswald Haerdtl. In 1887 (!) electric chandeliers were ordered by Hotel Sacher in Vienna. This "starburst" model is similar to the one hanging in the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
The prototype on the left was designed for Lobmeyr by Josef Hoffmann for the "Werkbund" Exhibition in Cologne in 1914. This series, emanating from the time of the "Wiener Werkstätte", was created specially for the drawing-room and could either be mounted on a stand or affixed to the ceiling.
In the middle of the 20th century the Baroque tradition of adorning chandeliers with brightly-coloured glass fruit was revived. This type of design is particularly popular in rural areas.

Iron and brass chandeliers A fine example is this 17th century four-flame, hand-forged wax candelabrum. The take-over of an old Flemish firm in 1916 laid the foundations for our Renaissance chandelier production.
