This wide bench is a mixture of weave effects and decorative scrolls with the wooden frame wrapped in split cane, giving a strong textural feel to the piece. As well as its obvious location on a veranda or in a conservatory, it would look good in an entrance lobby, or a bedroom. This furniture is suitable for use outdoors, so long as it is in a covered position, such as a veranda or covered terrace. It should not be allowed to get wet.
