SireFLO is Sire's new flooring system which, when used in the raised version, allows water to run quickly off the floor and onto the waterproofing shield below. An easy-to-lay, low-maintenance laying bed allows the creation of a cavity between the floor slabs and the flooring, which offers easy access for routing cables and pipelines and prevents thermal expansion and/or structural problems.

Problems related to the incompatibility between traditional building structures, conceived as to remain unaltered in time, and technical wiring, which need to be changed continously and adapted to user new necessities, are extremely important in buildings provided with high technological environments. In the beginning, access floors had been projected only to solve problems of plant engineering in data processing centres. Today, access floors are the best solution for many other projects where technical flexibility is required.

Raised modular flooring resolves most problems with the location of system by an installation space created under the walking surface. The advantages of this type of technical flooring are indisputable as they are quick to install, make access to installations easy and practical and they are in the long run more economical than traditional flooring set into the structure of the building. Indeed the installation networks are put in place with the minimum disturbance, open and without any need of building assistance.
Raised flooring has revolutionised the management of building sites by drastically reducing working time and costs. Technical flooring is made up of Cottostone panels and a supporting structure.

This is a material with an ancient tradition which valorises interiors and gives an extremely warm atmosphere.
Damp drawn, dried and subsequently baked in a kiln, for application on raised floors it is ground, squared, bevelled and pre-treated on the surface in the factory.

MERO´s first-class Type 4 - Stone was designed for representative areas. It is categorised as non-combustible in the Building Material Class A and features particularly good sound absorption properties and an excellent walking comfort.
Natural and artificial stones, glass and ceramics Type 4 panels are manufactured with PU foam. Thus, the flexibility of the system can be maintained and the danger of spalling of the edges of the coverings used can be avoided.

Monointec is the most innovative, technological system produced by Intec, because it has revolutionised the raised floor, with the introduction of the concept of the “reinforced minislab”, where the finish adheres to the composite material of the support thanks to an aggressive and impermeable bond: all without glue. The result is a single and thin monolithic block with outstanding chemical and physical characteristic: highest dimensional stability, sound proofing and a higher resistance to water and humidity, as well as to the fire and to acids; a high aesthetical solution; maintenance and cleaning as for a traditional floor. Monointec has been specifically engineered for use with top finishes such as porcelain stoneware, marble and granite and allows to make the most out of this kind of finishes, above all where water and acids in-absorbency are concerned, thus preserving their extraordinary properties of durability and cleanability.
Moreover, the minimal thickness makes it particularly suitable for restoring projects, in other words, cases where a conventional floor has been removed. Monointec allows the height required to install the raised floor to be kept at the lowest: the underfloor plenum, in which the structure complete with stringers is laid, and the thickness of the panel with porcelain stoneware top finish can all be included in just 6 cm height.
