The International Hockey Federation (FIH) insists on the use of artificial turf surfaces for official competitions. With the strength of their experience in this field, FieldTurf Tarkett has developed a specific playing surface for field hockey, meeting the main requirements of the FIH: PUR.
Certified by the FIH in the Global category, FieldTurf Tarkett PUR is the result of research and development work in permanent association with the clubs and our installation teams.
The outcome of these efforts was the confidence placed in FieldTurf Tarkett by the highest federal hockey authorities for the supply and installation of pitches for the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004!
The appearance and the excellent stability of PUR turf also make it one of the favourite finishes for other sports and games pitches, putting greens and golf practice areas. |

Prestige System is the first new-generation artificial turf concept developed by Tarkett Sports. This concept, consisting of polyethylene fibres of a height of between 50 mm and 70 mm and an infill of sand and recycled rubber granules, provides the sports qualities of a good natural grass court.
Prestige System does not need to use a shock pad to meet the requirements of the relevant federations. Its impact absorption comes from the technique used to infill the turf, unique to FieldTurf Tarkett.
The durability of its level of sports performance is obtained thanks to suitable maintenance, as detailed in the maintenance instructions for the Prestige System. Provided that maintenance operations are carried out in compliance with these instructions, FieldTurf Tarkett gives a guarantee of the levels of sports performance of the Prestige System for 8 years.

A rugby pitch takes a hard beating with two teams of 15 players each. Although natural grass generally remains the first choice of rugby players for the feel of the game, typical problems like muddy puddles and bare patches can have a negative impact on the quality of the pitch.

Clay tennis courts tend to become dusty in warm weather and often have to be sprayed. On the other hand, natural grass quickly becomes brown and bare. However, artificial grass always retains the same play characteristics so, as a result, your courts can be played on in both summer and winter with a minimum of maintenance.
Artificial grass also makes painting lines a thing of the past. The lines are simply tufted into the turf and form part of the rest of the artificial carpet. You decide the colours on your tennis court. Playing tennis on artificial grass is also extremely good fun. |

The playing comfort of a clay court lies, to a great extent, in the sensation caused by the movement of the crushed brick surface. It was in attempting to approach this characteristic that Olympuswas developed by FieldTurf Tarkett.
The association by FieldTurf Tarkett of three components selected for their complementarity – a high-quality fibre, infill sand that stabilises the structure durably and, finally, EPDM granules – provides Olympus with playing qualities that make this finish equal to the best in this category:
• Durable playing comfort.
• Playing qualities: Natural and regular ball bounce.
• Ideal surface for the refurbishment of old courts.
• Appearance.

Historically, the first indoor sports floors were in timber. Despite the arrival of artificial surfaces, timber sports flooring systems remain unbeatable for playing sports such as, for example, basket-ball, squash and dancing.
The levels of performance of timber sports floors have undergone considerable development, mainly in respect of the sub-bases that support the boards. FieldTurf Tarkett offers 4 types of timber sports floors: from the most traditional system to the most innovative, depending on the desired levels of sports performance and budgetary constraints. Lumaflex Support is a timber system for combined sports floors.
