The designs of Anniversary velvets are not made, as in habit, by different pile yarns or different structures but by an innovative technique which influences the direction of the pile.
Therefore the designs are permanent, contrary to many embossed velvets.
Due to the combination of the weaving technique and the extremely fine pile yarns and a very dense construction, the look of the fabric is totally new and, depending on the designs and colours, it is possible to obtain both classic and modern variants.
An additional aspect which characterises the collection is the option of two different colours in the ground and in the pile.
This gives to the fabric a very interesting and beautiful changeant-effect.
Anniversary has a very good abrasion resistance and is made for upholsteries but, due to the very soft hand and good fall, the modern fabrics are also perfectly usable for curtains.
Anniversary velvets are the result of a very sophisticated and high-end project and are the highlights of any high level interior design for the international market. |
