The FSB 1020 model is the clearest embodiment of the "good form" of the 1950s. This is a lever handle that flourishes by dint of the organic flow of its moulded-to-the-hand design and because it somehow looks symmetrical without actually being so. Johannes Potente's intention with this design was to provide a dynamic counterpoint to the linearity of doors. FSB 1020 is one of four models designed by Johannes Potente that, in the summer of 1998, were added to the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York.
