Antislip floors are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, staircases and intended for domestic, industrial and commercial environments.
We can build antislip tiles according to your personalised design! Contact us for information: giorgio@220254.it
They combine the ease of cleaning with excellent slip resistance in wet conditions.
The texture, characterised by a lower plane of communicating cells, is obtained by sandblasting and enamelling the surface derived from abrasion, permitting, with the necessary slope, excellent drainage of liquids and ensures ease in drying the tile surface.
The technique of using abrasive sandblasting provides a perimeter of the floor plan with no cutting edge, thus avoiding the risk of injuries both during installation and use.
The glazing technique by airbrush and enamel at a firing temperature that exceeds 1050°C gives abraded surface a good resistance to absorption and the consequent soiling.
The antislip tiles are supplied with a three-dimensional design texture.
The raised volumes are of different truncated forms; height, angle and the relationship between perimeter and area of closed cell repeated in the pattern of the floor surface are important for resistance to slipping.
The difference between the paving tile and abraded plane varies between about 0.9 and 1.0mm; the radius between the base of the volumes generating the upper and the lower plane has a limited radius intended to facilitate cleaning.
