TRILINE by Anya Sebton ABSTRACTA

Anya Sebton received the task to create a modern development of Abstracta’s classical Softline; the result became Triline. The triangular shape of the screen does not only ensure that the aesthetical expression is kept, but also hinders the sound waves to bounce straight back, thus working as a good sound absorbent. The screen is reversible and offers great variation possibilities. The displaced triangle can be placed either to the right or left. As a result, a beautiful relief-pattern is created when the screens are placed next to each other. The back is smooth and therefore it can be placed directly against a table. The leg of Triline picks up the triangular pattern and gives the screen a floating expression, but through its construction it provides great support. Triline can be delivered with two different fabrics, one on the front and another on the back. This provides further variation possibilities.

Now Abstracta extend the Triline series with an acoustic wall panel employing the same basic triangular shape. By creating a sound-absorbing wall panel with angled shapes you achieve not only an aesthetic expression, but also additional sound absorbing effect. The Triline wall panel uses hidden mounting bars that allow the panel to be hung either horizontally or vertically which gives further possibilities with patterns.
The size of 800x400 mm enables creating both symmetrical and asymmetrical formations.
