These lifts are allowed for the transport of persons. They comply with European Directive 95/16/CE as well as European standard EN 81.2
To be in compliance with current European regulations, goods lifts must be equipped with:
a braking system to ensure the safety of personnel and goods in case of overspeed or cable failure.
a double automatic door linked to the presence of the cabin at the proper floor.
an audio link between the cabin and outside.
a regular maintenance visit every six weeks.
